are there any nerf sex toys on the market?
are there any nerf sex toys on the market?
Because 10-11 year old boys need soft foam sex toys :downs:
I wonder why NERF haven't released any clip-system NERF guns (excluding the Recon, which is really a rifle-pistol combo), I just don't see the point in buying any pistols except the Maverick.

Uhm, take a look into the Longstrike, Longshot, Alpha Trooper, and that new one coming out that will be automatic. They've all been around for a while and are all magazine fed...
I think he meant pistol-sized guns, not large bolts.
Oh damnit I've given in , I'm sanding and spraypainting my BB.
How far does it shoot stock?
Dissapointingly not far. I don't have a tape measure with me but I can tell you it's nothing exciting. As said before , Plugging air holes and removing the air restrictors make it on par with a modded recon.
just got the recon and it is awesome!
what's a penny mod?

I know they work on magazines, it's just that they're called 'clip-system' by NERF. Which annoys me too... And I wasn't just talking about the guns, I meant the pistols.

Well, this is a great page king.
Ok, I understand the Clip/Magazine issue, but I thought a clip also referred the amount of ammo you have.
Example:
Magazine

Clip:
This guy has a clip of 35. Meaning he has 35 shots until he has to reload.

Or is the ONLY correct use of clip referring to the little metal strip with bullets on it.

Ignore that the screen shot is from halo, its one of the first hits for Ammo Couner on google images.

Don't you mean clip size? And I'm not sure if that's correct or not, but I'd just stick with '35 shots'.

No no no and no.
A clip, aka stripper clip is used to load a MAGAZINE. A MAGAZINE feeds ammunition into the gun. Clips aren't very common anymore, but you can see them on WW2-era rifles like the M1 Garand or speedloaders for revolvers. It still has a magazine, but it's not removable, it's loaded by a clip. The magazine holds the ammunition you are about to fire; So to refer to how many shots you have, you'd say something along the lines of "35 in my magazine". To not deal with any confusion, just say "35 rounds".

Ok, because whenever people discuss things like, game balance, or nerf/airsoft guns. They refer to the amount of rounds/shells a gun can hold as the clip. Common occurrence in the TF2 speculation threads, when speculating new weapons. Like when they say the 'Frontier Justice' has a Clip size of three.

Here we go again
Anyway, to change the topic, who else thinks the Stampede is going to blow almost every other NERF gun out of the water when it's released? As in, the only downsides are the D batteries and the fact it has no manual pump.

The manual pump idea is more up to individual preference, but yeah, the six D batteries is a bit of a problem, but should mean a good time before you have to change batteries again.
I'd prefer rechargeable batteries, D batteries are goddamned expensive.
Got an idea to make the Vulcan much easier to handle and lighter. Cut the belts down to 5-8 links. You no longer have to use the box to have them all feed, you can carry the extra belts easier, and your firepower is still on par with all the mag fed blasters out today. Also I am painting my Recon grey and black. Waiting for primer to dry so I can start. Wish me luck.

So buy rechargable D-sized batteries.

Thats a good idea.
You can buy the charger though.
Those are expensive as fuck. $15 for two rechargeable D batteries? HOLY FUCK.
Better than buying 6 more every 1000 rounds or whatever it is. That's just an example. Almost positive you can get them for much cheaper on somewhere that's not Amazon from a smaller, better, not-overpriced company.
Holy fuck, is this legit?

Yeah. For some reason, sporting goods stores seem to love them.
I went out looking for the new guns, but could only find an Alpha Trooper (a single one). I couldn't find the Barrel Break at all, so I picked up the BB Double Shot as a substitute until I can find one. I was surprised at how powerful it was.

The shotgun sports realistic pump-shotgun action so I guess that makes sense.
Isn't the double shot cool though? I wish they came with better darts since the darts that come with my RFR hardly stick to anything whatsoever

Mine seem to stick pretty well, I just wish the CS darts worked better in it. The problem is the little support peg jutting back in to the dart from the tip, which prevents it from sitting completely.
I want to see the NERF thread and the firearms thread do battle.
We'd totally win.

The shells act as an air restrictor, so if you drill out the peg it works, at least it does for my whistlers.
If you use a about 1/4th inch drill bit you can get rid of the little rubber washer/spring combo they have going on there. Remember, more air quicker = faster dart.
I've only drilled out the pegs for now (and fucked up one shell by drilling at a 10 degree angle :v:) but it works well as is and I've already painted my shells so I think I'll keep them as is

This is actually a bloody great blaster , it's the base for a "Doomsayer" mod , a rear loading stefan launcher.
