Went to the shops with my brother a few days ago, had to pick up a few little things, mainly a new alarm clock
He ends up buying two Mavericks (they were on offer, two for £15) and two Recons (£22 each), and my god are they awesome! Scary as hell when you wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning with a red dot on you and 6 darts in your face though
Looking into which gun to get next, the Alpha Trooper looks really nice, any idea about a UK release date/where it's sold (if it's already out)?

Failing that, how is the Raider, that looks pretty good and I can get one for about £25
I'd get the Stampede but for £57 it's a little out of my range

Alpha trooper & Spectre won't be available in the UK at all , you'll have to get them via eBay.
My housemates in Uni year 1 got me into Nerf but it seems to be a pretty exploding market, almost everyone I know has gotten into it in some way or another in the last few months.
Housemates had a Recon, a Raider, several Mavericks, a bandolier, and a Longshot, as well as several hundred darts for munitions.
After we changed houses I've just got a Raider and a Vulcan with their stock munitions. Intending to get a Stampede.
The Vulcan's a bit buggy following an air restrictor removal and I guess I've got a bit more to do it before it's fully functional again, but it definitely served well as psychological warfare, took them forever to realise when it was out of ammo. :sun:
At least by comparison to my housemates I was a surgeon with the Raider, they purposely introduced a no-headshots rule because of me, better than any of them with the longshot. :angel:

Target in the USA signed up for an exclusive deal for the Alpha trooper , pretty much meaning nobody can sell it apart from them.
Wal Mar did the exact same for the Spectre and Toys R Us did the same for the Barrel Break.
We only have Toys R Us to buy from.

What's the Spectre like by the way? I like the Maverick and it seems quite similar (if I'm thinking of the right gun)

By the looks of things, it's a five-shot redesigned Maverick with some accessories and you pull back on the slide to rotate the loading chamber rather than pull the trigger.
i love how they made automatic nerfguns and the custom colors are really cool

It basically is. I can't remember where but i think i read somewhere that it uses a different pump system or something along the lines of the Recon. Probably wrong though.
My clear Maverick came today, I'm gonna mod it with the fully extendable turret+no ARs. That's about it though

Not too bad actually. Not the easiest, but not that hard either.
Well I found out the hard way that losing springs suck ass, but I successfully removed the ARs, clipped off the orange pegs, made the turret/breech open all the way, and did the penny trick with 5 pennies. Also stripped a good 2-3 screws, but I still got them in as tight as I could, so it all works like a charm.

The Longshot has the ARs removed and a mod to allow removal of the magazine mid magazine.
The Titan has ARs removed and a shotgun mod- this means I can either fire the rocket or three darts.
