By that logic, it is incorrect to refer to an airsoft SCAR (let's use the Dboys version) as a SCAR, even though it has basically all the features of an actual SCAR (besides shooting real bullets). How about you stop being a dictionary dickhead and just accept that they're magazines, because they are. Hasbro is wrong and anyone who calls them clips are wrong too. Hasbro is a group of people, and people can be wrong. It seems the public as a whole finds it easier to accept that a single person can be wrong, but when a large group of people or the public representation of said large group of people is wrong it seems a lot of people can't fully wrap their heads around that. For this same reason large amounts of people end up hating the president, and fewer hating the government itself. Hasbro either showed its ignorant side and named it clip because they thought the topic needed no research (and how many people do you think, when this was discussed, wanted to stand up and say it should be called a magazine?). Rather likely, but they could've also intentionally named it a clip because (this applies to my argument, not yours about how they're 'not magazines because they're for kids derp') kids seem to grow up nowadays with the word clip instead of magazine. I just don't understand how don't understand that it's a NAME. A name! How can you deny that? If they make a product and they name it, they name it. You can't disprove that. There's no argument. It's their name for their product.
