I'm sorry, unrelated to the rest of this, I've never understood this mindset: "GOSH YOU DIDN'T READ THE OTHER FIFTY PAGES, STUPID CUNT NEWFAG, GET OUT OF HERE. IS IT SO HARD TO READ THE REST OF THE THREAD!?!?!!?"
I hate when people ask questions when they skip to the last of the thread. I mean, I understand not reading the whole thread, but if you want to know something, just look back. "OMG GUYS PLEASE TELL ME THE NAME OF THAT NERF GUN WITH A SHIELD ON IT AND STUFF PLEASE." "It was on the last page, idiot" "IM NOT AN IDIOT I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WITHOUT READING ALL FIFTY PAGES" Also, CTRL+f is useful in this situation. You don't have to read every thread. [editline]10:27PM[/editline]
fuck. one of my darts is lost :argh: it wasnt my fault. i came home and either my brother or sister was playing with it and a dart was missing :geno:
Having a nerf gun one ONE less dart than it holds is depressing. Nothing like counting your shots with a nerf maverick, and making confusing face every time you get to six.
Mini-poll: When you reload your maverick (if you have one) do you flick the cylinder back in place with your wrist, or do you push it back in with your hand and spin it? I tend to alternate.
Flip it in by flicking the maverick sideways and rolling it a slight bit so it locks in place. EG HL2 .357 reload animation.
So I thought I should start getting nerf guns and modding them since I'm so technical n shit. I heard NiteFinders and Mavericks were cheap and easy to mod, true or false? Also do you guys think it would be profitable to sell modded nerf guns? (I'd be doing nitefinders and maverciks, but I'd move onto better guns later)
Mavericks are somewhat easy to mod, their air restrictors are a bit annoying but after that they're fairly easy to mod. Even modded though, you can't get too much extra range out of them unfortunately. Nitefinders are incredibly easy to mod from what I've heard, they're not the most efficient when it comes to fighting because they're single shot.

I was planning on making a mini breech system that would allow you to use a magazine modified to fire stefans.
Alright, so HvZ is coming up for me, and I need a gun. Im thinking about carrying two guns at once, one for general use, and a fast firing backup for those "Oh SHIT" situations. I was thinking the Magstrike dart tag package (for the extra mag) for the "Oh SHIT" gun, and the Alpha trooper with a couple extra mags as my primary. I would get the Raider, but with the drum its too bulky to carry around in addition to another gun. [editline]02:21AM[/editline] Modability is also not an issue since we aren't allowed to mod our guns for HvZ.
Get two holster, 2 mavericks, a deploy/raider/stampede (one of these), then put a bunch of socks in a bag that you can pull out easily. Then, get a backpack with half of a pack of water bottles and maybe some lunchables, along with some crappy single shot dart tag guns just in case a maverick breaks.

I almost lost my clip for my nerf gun.. thank god I found it :smug:

What about a heavy mod to the Maverick, like it does flip out but you can slide it off and put a new loaded barrel? Sort of like the revolver in Borderlands?
They won't find out if you do AR mods and such ;)
They can usually tell, my cousin told me that they require you to hand them your gun and check it for mods, but then again there school had a strict no mods policy. I think what they do regularly is make you fire it point blank against yourself and if it leaves a welt they dont let you use it.
They won't find out if you do AR mods and such ;)
Except AR mods leave the gun really loud.
Except AR mods leave the gun really loud.
Well yeah, padding?
I say, if you like modding and have skill in painting, pick up a doubleshot. Cut off the barrel of course, and then if you want to spend the time you can do THIS mod to hold shells Dremel off the back of the stock, don't follow my example where I used scissors and needlenose pliers. [img_thumb]http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/8746/photo0365a.jpg[/img_thumb] If you give it a really good paint job, then it would definitely sell. If you added some sort of leg holster, it would make a good HvZ gun as a backup. It's really light, but it gets two shots off quick in emergencies.
Well yeah, padding?
I've padded my LS and it's still p. loud
I've padded my LS and it's still p. loud
Hmm, better padding then :3:
should i buy a £22ish deploy?
should i buy a £22ish deploy?
I don't understand the want for the deploy. It's not sneaky, and the stock flashlight is horrible.
Just got my stampede today, its a very sexy gun, but it gets a fuckload heavier with batteries. now, I wanna know, whats your favourite colour? Crimson, Yellow, Blue, or clear?
Blue.
Reloading the maverick takes fucking forever. Nerf revolvers are horribly inefficient
Blue.
This. I think all the others (aside from clear of course) are too bright. Still don't like the clear though. I hate clear guns.
Reloading the maverick takes fucking forever. Nerf revolvers are horribly inefficient
All NERF guns take forever to load unless you have a fresh clip ready (or plenty of shells for the BuzzBee guns)
All NERF guns take forever to load unless you have a fresh clip ready (or plenty of shells for the BuzzBee guns)
I mean there's no way to speed up the loading process without buying another maverick and doing the removable barrel mod, and even then you might as well just keep the guns intact and just use two guns, and not even have to reload.
I was looking into getting a doubleshot to dick around with, would anyone recommend any mods to do for it that would be easy?
