I know I can look a reference images, but you can't beat having a real one.[/QUOTE] well when you get around to the cylinder, looks like it could be shorter and the barrels need to be flush with the face of it, which is then flush with the front yellow bit, the hole in the front needs to be x2 bigger at least by my eye and you need to add the orange clip thing that holds the tac stuff on the tac-rail

Also, the black trim on top doesn't seem right. Lastly, the barrel is too small. What modeling program are you using? In my experience, it's a lot easier if you can load a couple reference images on image panes. In fact, as the gun is symmetrical you could probably get away with using a side picture and guessing on the width. Don't worry about your parents judging you over buying toy guns. If it's really that big a deal, introduce them to the modding scene.

I have the Recon Nerf gun, I think I should get some of the newer guns, they look awesome (Spectre, Barrel Break, and Alpha Trooper). Maybe even the Longstrike. That Buzbee Rapid Fire rifle looks pretty cool too.
