Can anyone explain to me how barrel mods are supposed to work? I just installed about 8 inches of 1/2" copper tubing inside the barrel of my Alpha, with a groove cut into it to allow the bolt to slide into position. It loads and fires fine, but I think it's actually less powerful and less accurate than the mile-wide stock barrel.

Oddly enough there is apparently a pressure switch already in the gun, its just not connected to anything or properly placed. Sounds like they originally planned to make it only spin up when the trigger was pulled. Also, you can overvolt it and the wheels will spin up rather fast. [editline]26th December 2010[/editline] And you don't have to move the flywheel's closer together, just wrap a little bit of electrical tape around them and you get the same effect. Also, I got the Nerf Vest. Didn't necessarily want it, but it'll make a good spot to holster my Spectre. I also got a brand new dremel, so that'll be fun for some things.

I just got the Barricade and it's pretty sweet. I like how new Nerf guns are getting motorized and shit. Hopefully they make it quieter or something.

Got a Stampede for Christmas. It's awesome. My cat is terrified of it. I haven't even shot her with it. Just load up a dry clip and dryfire it. :v:

Besides, there aren't many other ways to get semi-auto functionality.

Question, if i got some of those poppers that wrapped in those bits of paper (the ones that go bang/pop when you throw them on the ground) and stuck them on the tips of nerf dart, would they go bang when they hit the wall?
