Heh, Nerf. I was at my friend's house to go plinking with our airsoft guns and show off our new gear, and we found his old N-strike.
Needless to say, I putmy replica Eotech on the top, and his grippod and M203 on the bottom.
I'm in the process of trying to setup a game at my high school. I'm hoping my school isn't anal about nerf guns.

No, this one was one of those SyFy originals. Usually they're atl east watchable.
There are two different movies in question right now. The one in theaters is Battle: Los Angeles and the sci fi one is battle for Los Angeles.
I bought this last night

It's pretty cool but loading in the next dart is annoying when you have the sight on it since you have to move the top grey slide back then forward, and the attachments are very wobbly.
Yeah. The sight is flimsy as hell anyway , so is the stock.
there's something wrong with my scope that came with the longshot, the attaching part for the scope when I put it on my recon is leaning towards the left
oh my god, syfy has gone straight down
as in, UNDEFINED on a graph straight-fucking-down
in other news, I have $300, reccomendations?

You could probably buy every gun in the N-Strike line with that money. Do it.
Wow, so it's indie? I saw it on the marquis at the theatre downtown, plus I've been seeing the trailer everywhere, I thought it would be a big-budget District 9/Cloverfield kinda deal.
Uh, you're thinking Battle: LA. That other movie is a mockbuster made by the bastards that created Alien Versus Hunter and Transmorphers.

I recommend getting a primary, such as the Stampede if you like automatics or the longshot/strike if you like slow and methodical, and a secondary such as the raider, since it takes the same clips. That way you don't have to worry about carrying separate ammo types. On the ammo subject, you can also get the extra ammo pack that comes with a bandoleer, very useful for holding your clips and darts. If you have a desire to spend more after that, grab a melee weapon and/or a carrying strap for your primary (alternatively, get a strap off of a carrying bag and tie that sucker on).
the longstrike
no

The orange bit on the sight broke off mine, then the blackbit decided to shoot it self up in the air some how.
The stock can bend 90deg on mine both to the side and in-line.
and yet i love it .
If I ever get a Recon, I'm breaking it down and converting it into a bolt pistol.

Schools always crack down on what their students find to pass the time.
no
true the longstrike will never be a suitable replacement for the godly longshot but with proper modding it can still hit 65-70 feet flat

It's not just that, they won't let people organize an event or anything regarding NERF on their campus. We HAVE a park but it would be harder to find darts in dirt, grass, lots of leaves, and other things than grass and sand.

I'm planning on organizing a Humans Vs Zombies game in my high school. Hopefully, my school isn't anal about this stuff.... Hopefully.
I've got the Recon, 2 Mavericks, a Buzz Bee double barrel, and a Vulcan.
Shit's so cash, gonna get a Bow & Arrow next
How is that BuzzBee double barrel? I was gonna get it because it was so cheap but I decided not to.
Amazing
It shoots really good, The only problem I have with it is the way you have to cock it, it looks like you're gonna break it.
God, that sound when you cock it..
it's like grinding plastic gears or someshit
yeah :gonk:
i haven't owned one of those in years but the sound still echos in my ears
:byodood:

Plus it LOOKS really cool and powerful, which can be very helpful if you play HvZ. On the subject of the Double Barrel, it's awesome, but the shells make it completely impractical for serious games.
Well I need to get a bolt-action rifle, whats an easy to find, and somewhat cheap model gun to get?
I want a buzz bee double-shot really bad...
I went to the local large shop, never found one... I took home a rapid fire though.
Shit is so cash.

Oh, and Buzz Bee hunter probably.
there's an airzone bolt-action with a 5-round mag too
Have any of ye modded yours to get more power by altering the mechanism inside? Wish I had a group of friends who enjoyed nerf enough to stage a zombie event.

Try your local universities and colleges, chances are you'll find one that runs a game in your general area. Also, Buzz Bee Hunter is a good bolt action rifle, but don't expect very long ranges or quick reloads.
Maverick paintjob, sanded and all:

My first extensive modification. It's a bit messy, but it's awesome. I think I'm going to paint it.
