I already have a foolproof plan for my future so I'm not worried because I also have a foolproof backup. Unless it kills me or drives me insane like some of my freinds it really wouldn't do any harm to me.

Twelve years is around the time you start puberty, and that's still pushing it a bit. Also, slightly related, but the concept of your 'balls dropping' is a bit inaccurate, as if I recall correctly, your testes descend and elevate to regulate temperature so that your sperm does not die. What it's actually referring to is the growth of the testicles, which, again if I recall correctly, begins just before you start growing pubic hair. As to keep this on topic, even though stated before, you probably should avoid drugs that actively affect your perceptions until you are at least sixteen to seventeen years of age, to minimize psychological/perceptual and physical complications in the future.

I know someone who was taller than me at 17 (now) when he was 11. He also had facial hair and a shit ton of acnea.

Puberty starts depending on when your body is ready for it, it depends on a bunch of conditions, but body weight, hormone density(how much the hormone has accumulated) and something else. Normally, this happens at 13, but I guess it could happen at 10 if a "miracle" occurred.
