DEP... I can keep listening to DEP however, especially Calculating Infinity. If you wanted to show off the better side of BTBAM, I'd suggest throwing him the first or second album, which imo those are their best work. It's also hard to compare since DEP are sorta genre-breaking mathcore while BTBAM are just... "prog metal" with a bunch of different genres mixed into it. Sure, it's cool for a while. But it gets old fast. Especially when they keep returning to the same routine of Dirty/Clean/Dirty/Clean for every song.

Well yeah, it's a valid point, you mention hardcore and folk could get confused between the two, so one name should be changed, and considering the electronic genre came about last, it should be that one that is changed.

Do people call BMTH, Attack Attack! etc hardcore because they know metalcore and deathcore are actually really bad (metalcore has exceptions but really only the melodeath stuff but that is too... happy or something when they're combined. I prefer normal melodeath.) and try to feel better for liking it by using a good genre's name
