urgh i feel like shit, stink was pretty great. Pulled an all nighter and stayed up all yesterday but forgot to eat or anything and just feel shit now. Probably worth it

just got back from Lightning in a Bottle, it was fucking SICK. everyone was incredibly nice, and nobody gave a FUCK - there were people walking around in broad daylight with bongs and liquor out, random groups of people invited others to join them in festivities, even the festival staff got in on the partying. I candyflipped to see Shpongle live and the set was fucking amazing... brought my homemade Shpongle mask and became a celebrity when I waded to the front of the crowd. Bassnectar was truly something out of this world... I ended up randomly hooking up with this chick when I was on 2CB and we spent the entirety of Bassnectar's set in each others arms holding hands and groping each other - it was so utterly blissful and beautiful, like something out of a dream. At one point some people around me were desperately trying to get the tiny end of a joint lit, I handed them my pipe and hash and everyone around me instantly became my best friend while I smoked them out basically fused to that girl good fucking weekend, I feel goosebumps and tears well up a bit whenever I think about it :)

Silkie was well decent too, i saw him out in the smoking area and ended up having a chat with him, stayed with him for about an hour or so having a chat about life and being a DJ and shit, He's actually a well safe guy, he introduced me to all the other DJ's and was going to take me backstage but the bouncers wouldn't let me in which was pretty shit. Instead he bought me a shot and we just went to watch phaeleh. All the time i was just rolling hard having an amazing time, i'm pretty sure he was on it too because he was way too friendly to me being a random stranger, maybe he's just an extra nice guy.

It was actually a lot more enjoyable than I expected. Danced for like 6 hours straight in a blazer and button up shirt. Didn't take the blazer off at all because I'm so hardcore... and then I spent the next day on an IV replenishing fluids.

Went to my first proper warehouse rave last night. Paint peeling off every wall, building debris everywhere, all toilets flooded, roof was falling down in the smoking area, bar ran out after an hour, DJ's were shit, a dealer trying to get rid of some infamous pink M pills and a really odd guy who ran the place constantly wondering around and shouting. But it also had lots of people on md. I like people on md :) will definitely be going to more, ended up being cheaper than a normal night out in town and many times better.

anyone doing creamfields? im thinking about getting a ticket but theyve gone for a more dubsteppy sort of lineup this year and i much much prefer my dnb and house compared to dubstep
