I find it hilarious that they built this and then show some of the laggiest footage of dota 2 i've ever seen. I have a 10 year old gaming pc that runs dota 2 at a higher framerate than that.
Just bear in mind the smaller you go the more limitations you get. You start losing things like 3.5" drive bays for HDDs and disk drives. You'll more than likely have to use a preinstalled PSU that's smaller and designed to fit, which have much lower wattage. Also mind tour GPU depth that it's not too large. Also water cooling tubes start to be a bitch to handle, not to mention the size of the radiator...
It's not that it's a bad idea. The last pc I made itx was the goal, but I didn't make enough concessions power-wise so it ended up being large anyway and I switched back to a tower shortly after. In retrospect, I could've slotted my OD into an external case, and I really don't need a 780. (But oh is it glorious...)
Mini ITX is not hard to build. it can be a bit more expensive, but a good cube case has all of the things you say are omitted.

noctua have some amazing Mini ITX CPU coolers designed to not touch VRM heatsinks and ram/GPU. galaxy are producing a single slot GTX670 (and some more powerful single slot GPUs were showcased at computex last week), and a few OEM's are starting to catch on to selling smaller PSU's
Seriously?
Making a PC out of components is piss easy if you chose your components carefully.
Why would you need a video on that?
There are people that don't know where CTRL is on a keyboard, still
That Dota 2 game at the end is being spectated.
So they added thermal paste onto CPU and placed intel's heatsink over it when intel's heatsink comes with pre-applied thermal paste, at least mine had it when I built my PC.
Someone should make a gif out of that and write "this kills the cpu"
"Hey let's make a video for gamers on how to build an ITX PC!"
"Okay yeah, we'll do it in a lab so it's sciency!"
"Sure but let's also add a color tint and an old timey overlay!"
"Whatever but I want hot chicks, I like hot chicks"
"Fine but they have to wear video game-related outfits!"
"Oh and we should have a narrator that sounds like he's from an infomercial! People love those right?"
"Yeah and then we could have an annoying jingle to go with it!"
And that's how we get this confused mess.
