Facebook arguments are the worst, I swear that site condenses all the worst aspects of a single person and turns them into a gigantic tool.

How hard would you guys say it is to complete an AK-74 80% without one of those $90 steel milling/drilling guides?
I was planing on just buying the 80% receiver and doing it with a paper outline/plan.
Yeah this whole ordeal has done wonders at proving the effectiveness of 5.56 against unarmed school children. I feel much safer now.

I'm not actually being serious :v:. I have a sense of humor that sees no limits to what you can say and talk about.
Anywayyyyyyy. How much do you guys think a Hipower in .40 will be once the calm starts down?
Georgia bro's, wasn't it Austin Scott (congressmen) saying that he'd consider gun control after the shooting in december? Cause I just got this in my email
Dear Bob Sagget,
The Founding Fathers valued the right to bear arms so much that it was included as the 2nd Amendment in the Constitution. I believe that our right to keep and bear arms is as important today as it was then. As a gun owner, avid hunter and a lifetime member of the NRA, I will fight to preserve our 2nd Amendment rights and our ability to secure the safety of our homes and families.
Gun control laws leave guns in the hands of criminals while leaving ordinary, honest, law-abiding citizens defenseless. For example, Washington, D.C. has some of the most strict gun laws in the country, yet it also has one of the highest crime rates in the nation. We can reduce crime by holding criminals accountable for their actions, not by adding layers of gun control.
Thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to do so in the future. It's an honor to represent the Eighth Congressional District of Georgia.
Sincerely,
Austin Scott
Fuck yar Georgia!

That is the Cyrillic marking on the receiver of the gun.

The hardest part would be heat treating it and welding the bolt guides on.
For drilling the holes, you don't need the jig, but it does help a lot. If you already have an AK, then you can just get measurements off that, or use one of the blueprints that are everywhere on the internet. I was honestly thinking about doing the same thing you're talking about, just drilling the holes into sheet metal and then bending it myself. AK receivers are so stupidly simple.
By the way if you know where to get any AK-74 parts kits (Preferably Bulgarian but I'm not picky) that aren't $3-400, would you be so kind as to share the love?
this just furthers more and more that i dont know what to believe because everyone is stupid

So... even though that is the legit site of the CT government and that is the official press release there is still doubt? I mean I don't like it, but it is the truth...
but after that, they're was that video that i posted saying they retracted their statement
[editline]31st January 2013[/editline]
and the cops could be stupid

It wouldn't be the first time the official police record was wrong.
I think I'm just going to take the "Who the fuck knows?" stance, here.
last week I bought 500 rounds of .30 carbine ammo from the surplus store, which was actually all they had left. I also made made plans to buy 500 more rounds of .30 and 1000 rounds of .303 from a local private seller for dirt cheap. I already have ~200 rounds of PPU .303 but I could always use more. There's also a high chance that the seller will part with some 15 round M1 Carbine magazines!!

Sort of like how its the truth that area 51 doesn't exist according to the government. Don't take it as fact just because the government says it is. It's still run by people, don't forget that.
Fuck there's always at least 8 pages done by the time I notice a new thread.
Yeah I wish we could have a way to link a thread to an old one or something
Find me the links to the old threads and I'll tossem into the OP

Eh. I'm sure they recognize that it exists, but just as an aircraft/weapons testing facility and nothing more.
I buy that story more than the stories conspiring.
I like to think I know a bit more about it than the average person, having researched it and having a relative that's been in the facility.

I tried that and for some reason it didn't work. So I went through all the other media tags I could think of and none of them worked so I just stopped bothering.

FP is being weird today. Thanks.
So the AZ shooting that just happened, they found the shooter dead in his car
Found an AR-15 and a Ruger in the car he killed himself in.
I lol'd when the news called the ruger a luger.
I realized yesterday I only have 5 15 rounders, and 1 30 rounder.
I was gonna get some 30 rounders, but I have a TypeII mag catch so the 30 rounders don't feel all that well for the first ~10 rounds due to the weight
I had bought 3 of them just so I could take a practical carbine class with the M1, while everyone else was rocking ARs and AKs. Ended up including 2 and a couple nasty 15 rounders with the Universal I bought and sold last year in one weekend.

It all breaks down and fits in the waterproof stock.
