The guy selling it has both a wood and a polymer stock for it... the wood has like striping in it, and looks like he hasn't even used it. The polymer stock however is fugly cause he painted it himself... but since he is selling it with one stock (lol) the wood one would be my choice. Maybe you guys can see these pics... posted a little lower. [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] I don't see any reason not to like it, but then again I'm pretty uninformed on M1A's.

Off to class let me know if you guys think it's worth it.
That polymer stock is hideous. Maybe with some paint it'd look better. The wood stock, though, is gorgeous. $1200 is a good price, would see if you can get him to toss in a couple mags.
Not a huge fan of the scout model but for a M1A in today's market, I'd do it

He is willing to throw in one 10 rnd mag, which is fine cause he only has three 10 rnds. He is also selling some ammo, Portuguese Surplus 200rnds for 100 bucks, and 100 rnds of Brazilian ammo for 75 bucks. Dunno if that's a good ammo deal, haven't kept up with the price of .308 and especially after the gun scare started. [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] And I am def gonna go with the wood, I think it's pretty sexy.
Good price on the Portuguese. 50 cent surplus was hard to find before the rush. As for the Brazilian ammo, that price is still lower than what most stuff is going for currently. I saw a South African battlepack of 308 at the last gunshow, 140rds for $2/rd. I doubt he sold it at that price.
Guess I hit the jackpot.
We barely have any .308 :v: Only have a couple rifles that take it.
UPDATE: PM'ed the guy. He has already sold it... asshat didn't take down the add... guess I did spare my bank account (read credit rating). Oh well... there are more fish in the sea.
Does anyone have that video where the Black guy is discussing why people should be afraid of whites, in the event of a race war. Had him ranting about how they taught their kids to shoot.

so shes an even dumber person than fienstein
so shes an even dumber person than fienstein
The problem with fienstien is that she knows what she's talking about and knows she's misrepresenting the facts. McCarthy just latches on to buzzwords and is easy to fight

[editline]1st February 2013[/editline]
-Media Thing-
I.. uh... whut? We teach our children to respect and cherish firearms, and to make ammunition count; and we're the bad guys for teaching them to not fear weaponry that is next-to-harmless when handled properly? I thought that was the responsibility of all parents of all generations, regardless of race?
Why is having a FAL better than having an SVT 40 when the SVT 40 is more historic and I assume rarer?
FAL is amazing, svt-40 is still awesome. but i'd rather have a FAL before a svt-40
so my dumbass dorm freaked out because ilikecorns package said "small arms ammunition" on it and they yelled at me i told them no guns are kept here and calmed them down but they refused to give me my package and said they have to give it back to UPS so now i have to try and intercept it at the warehouse before they send it back to him

That would have been a lot better than Small Arms Ammunition. A lot better.
I'd have flipped my shit and demanded my box. But then again; that may not have been 100% the most responsible thing to do. I'd read their handbook and find where it says they must do that and that you can't receive those types of packages, and hammer on them about it if it's void of their policy. But, that's just me.
I have a lot of Fal mags, and 7.62,

I'd still have fought it. Especially if I lost my money in the deal. If you just have to go to UPS and pick it up, that might be one thing; but if there is a specific lack of policy against that ridiculousness, I'd bring it up and be like 'Yo, give me my stuffs back' to them without a doubt. (Granted, I don't know what you bought exactly, so maybe a 1000rd box of .22 no; but a 1000rd box of 5.56, oh heck yes)
220-ish rds of 7.62x39 i dont really care as long as it doesnt get shipped back to fucking washington
So, I might sound dumb for asking this here but I don't know much about actually using guns and want this to be semi-realistic, I'm wanting to stat a shotgun concealed in a prosthetic forearm for a Cyberpunk 2020 game. So, what kind of range would a 12 gauge with a six inch barrel stay fairly accurate to? How hard would it be to aim it with no sights?
So, what kind of range would a 12 gauge with a six inch barrel stay fairly accurate to? How hard would it be to aim it with no sights?
25 yards tops if you're planning on hitting anything and not just making loud noises

When something like that happens, You have the right to use force to get your package back.
