Yeah no. When something like that happens, You have the right to use force to get your package back.
What the fuck do you mean by "use force"? In the context of this thread that seems a little over the top :v:
Oh read it wrong :v:. I assumed it was like a dorm mate across the hall or something. Not the actual dorm.... [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] And I meant a fist to the nose.
So, I might sound dumb for asking this here but I don't know much about actually using guns and want this to be semi-realistic, I'm wanting to stat a shotgun concealed in a prosthetic forearm for a Cyberpunk 2020 game. So, what kind of range would a 12 gauge with a six inch barrel stay fairly accurate to? How hard would it be to aim it with no sights?
20 yards reasonable, 25 lethal, 50 possible. Aiming is as easy as pointing when its part of your arm
20 yards reasonable, 25 lethal, 50 possible. Aiming is as easy as pointing when its part of your arm
Really? I thought that would've made it seriously fucking awkward to use since you couldn't use your wrist.

Went to the range today. Didn't feel like carrying my whole range bag out for one gun, so I loaded up a bandolier with Garand clips, and took my muffs. Was shooting, having a pretty good time. The ammo my dad bought me for Christmas only seems to cycle the gun enough to load the last round only about once per clip, on average. While shooting, a couple Russian (real Russian immigrants) set up next to me and began shooting an M38 Nagant carbine one of them had just bought. I traded them a couple rounds. That Nagant kicks, but man was it satisfying!

Most shotguns reach max velocity within 10 inches of barrel length. The shortness would effect it, but 25 yards would definitely be lethal. Full choke would be recommended
well unrelated to my fiasco earlier, i ironically had my 1911 in my dorm today to clean it so heres some pics because i never really show my guns because i dont have a proper camera
So, the guy was interested in doing the trade for the SVT-40. When I told him where I was from he got all antsy and is not willing to travel. Yet expressed how much he really wants the FAL. Sorry pal, I am only going to meet halfway... not driving all the way to your place. If he wants it so bad he would be more willing. Must not want it bad enough. ;) Oh well. I guess I get to hold it to use for another bartering chip. :D
Vz.44 came in today. [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/Yv27m8.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/qystbG.jpg[/thumb] Came with a holster which is surprisingly heavy for some reason.
speaking of reloading, I've been seriously considering starting since .303 and 6.5x55 are getting harder to get. I've already decided I don't want a single stage press, but I can't decide if I should get a turret press, or just splurge and get a progressive. So what you reloaders recommend?
Okay. A few things are missing, this is just all that was next to me for a pic.
LOVE it! :) Keep em' strong, Keep em' U.S. Anybody got a class 3 weapons licence out there? I want won so bad.

How do you like the Lee? Right now I'm torn between that one and the Lyman.
How do you like the Lee? Right now I'm torn between that one and the Lyman.
I'm happy with it. Only real complain is the powder measure tends to spit powder out around when feeding.
Thanks I've shoot a few boxes of that. Not bad ammo, but at $0.83/round I think I can do better reloading. [editline]2nd February 2013[/editline]
I'm happy with it. It's not spitting out of the powder bowl, but rather the measuring plates on it. I might do some sanding on it and rub some graphite around it to make it seal better. Their top commenter uses numbers and apostrophes for every second character.
And I now feel that the Huffington Post is a disgusting sack of shit.
huffington post was a disgusting sack of shit long before they went and pulled that bullshit
huffington post was a disgusting sack of shit long before they went and pulled that bullshit
Man, 1028+? That's like... 0.000003% of our population. Even if it was that monthly, we're at 0.000036% (12336) How about 1993, one of the worst years for gun crime. It's at 0.0001% (37,666) Compared to 0.003% for cancer and heart disease combined. (Yearly; 2010) (597,689 and 574,743) Or 0.0001% for suicide. (Yearly; 2010) (38,364) Yes, one of our worst years in gun crime was roughly as bad as the number of suicides we had more recently. Wake up people, guns are obviously the biggest killers in America and we need to focus on how terrible they are. We can't prevent or dedicate time to fixing the other major leading causes of death, but we'll instead fuck around with guns instead. Mhmm.
Alright motherfuckers, the hype train has entered the station, WOO WOO: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/xOTJ0fl.jpg[/img_thumb] From top to bottom, left to right: Mosin, Izhevsk 1943 SVT-40, Tula 1942 Remington 597 Baikal ИЖ-18M 12GA 2.75" 2 SKS, Tula 1951 for both (Note, these are my parents', I included them for the jelly) TT-33, Izhevsk 1943 Walther P99 9mm (Not in my name, but it's basically mine, we just need to do the paperwork to make it mine) All of my Russian guns combined cost less than my P99, since the SKSes aren't technically mine. Hell, if I take the lower estimate for that single-shot, all my other guns combined cost less than the Walther. And this is why I want a Nagant Revolver, it's the last part of my Russian General Issue collection for WWII, until the semi-auto PPSh-41 reproductions make it into the country. Congrats to Suitcase, the Canadian who called my first-page Toxx clause:
I shan't post my pictures until I either have A) as complete of a Russian WWII collection as I can get in Canada (almost there), or B) one of the other Canadians posts their family photos. Basically, I'll show you mine if you show me yours first. But when I do, all y'all Americans gonna be grape fuckin' jelly, I can tell you that. I also realized that I only have 1 gun that isn't Russian in my name right now.
All I want is the SVT...
All I want is the SVT...
All I want is everything there. Especially the semi autos.
All I want is everything there. Especially the semi autos.
Sucks living in Australia, we should have laws like New Zealand
All I want is everything there. Especially the semi autos.
Meanwhile all I want is an AK-47.
Meanwhile all I want is an AK-47.
AKM? Or like an actual AK47?
