I wish .308 wasn't out everywhere in town. These ammo shortages are really skewing my preferences when it comes to buying something with my tax money.
I'd have bought a .22 for myself by now, but I can't get ammo for it anywhere in town and just about every ammo site I've looked at requires you to be 21.

Same thing here, my money is going to my car for an oil change and new tires.
I was going to spend it on an AR-15 but those are illegal mass murder guns in the state and so I was going to invest on a new rig instead until I realized that it's that time of year again for car maintenance.
Man, I feel so lucky to already have my vehicle pretty much taken care of. Busted my ass to get it, and the note is just a regular expense now:

I have a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis, it used to be my grandfather's, I was with my grandparents when they bought it in early '96, 2 and a half years old. Nothing short of the engine/tranny dying or the frame rusting out or breaking will stop me from driving this car, I plan on seeing it to the scrapyard.
