My store still has like 100 boxes of .223, but we're all out of 12GA target loads and 9mm. I hear people from as far south as Florida are trying to buy bulk ammo from Canada so it'd be profitable to ship it cross-border due to the shortages down south.
I don't understand why the bulk packs of 12 gauge are so hard to find right now. Panic buying is stupid and people are stupid I just want to shoot my guns
We can also get 1600 round crates of Chinese .233 up here still, and 1000 of Chinese .45, so all the people with a Chinese-made US military loadout can still afford to feed their guns.
I think it's extra retarded that people are panic buying 7.62x54r, .303, 8mm, and stuff like that. Mosins, Enfields, and Mausers aren't going anywhere. I just wanna shoot :C

If they tax the bullets, reloading benches will be sold like hotcakes.

Fineswine really stirred up the hive. DHS has been buying up lots of ammo too so that doesn't help either.
Then of course there's the shmucks who've been buying up all the ammo and mags and reselling them for 1000% profit
When it comes to ammo and anything related, it's just about all dried up, everywhere. It really is ridiculous. I purposely bought my P226 because I wanted something that was cheaper to shoot than my 1911. Well, so much for that. I have yet to find 9mm that is cheaper than .45 right now, and .45 hasn't gone down in price.
We are planning on selling a couple of our Crapco 30 rounders once everything cools down
We are planning on selling a couple of our Crapco 30 rounders once everything cools down
If they're crap, sell them now and keep the good things for once the shits no longer in the fan-blades!
tapco mags aren't terrible they're just ugly as fuck
i hate tapco mags, my friends AR would fuck up all the time with tapco mags but GI steel ones worked flawlessly
tapco mags aren't terrible they're just ugly as fuck
My AK came with 6 of em. Sold them immediately and used the funds to buy a couple Bakelites.
I got some slab-side tapco magazines for my ak, these specifically: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1116228257/tapco-intrafuse-smooth-side-low-drag-magazine-ak-47-762x39mm-russian-30-round-polymer I bought two because I've already got a shitload of magazines and I wanted this look, without the price. I've run probably 200 or so rounds in each, I haven't extensively beat on them either. But they've lasted so far. I assume their shitty looking ones are of similar quality, but I haven't used those. Personally, my only real irk with them, is the fact that they are not metal reinforced. I've gotten a few reports of other guys with aks' snapping the little tabs off the back of the magazine. (due to not being metal reinforced) Still can't beat a good ol' mil-spec metal mag though.(or some nice Bakelite)
Firearm Facepunchers. Seriously. We
NEED
to start a fucking arms company. Hell, we could make serious bank just chunking out ammunition and magazines. [editline]8th February 2013[/editline]
You know how much that would cost
Will work for mill and lathe. Also food.
Will study and design ballistics for food... and money... and guns... plausibly for beer, too.
You know how much that would cost
I priced it out already, it's around 15,000 startup cost before we buy materials and pay wages. Less if we bring our own gear. I've got a full shop of woodworking tools that can be adapted for metalworking with the right blades and bits. Only thing I don't have is a cnc mill and a forge.
Does that include obtaining the proper permits and other various fees associated w/ setting up a proper business?
it includes the firearms related permits, but not the regular business permits or insurance because that cost varies by state and sometimes city. I can't imagine it would be terribly expensive to do so no matter where you actually do it
And I've got like $120k to invest as long as I can trick her into thinking it's NOT firearm-related :v:
And I've got like $120k to invest as long as I can trick her into thinking it's NOT firearm-related :v:
you have $120,000 to invest in firearms? god damn
what if.... what if obama is actually faking a pro-gun control stance so that he could stimulate the firearm economy
you have $120,000 to invest in firearms? god damn
Nono. I have $120k to invest in a business venture of my choosing. However, the individual in question is very, very anti-gun.
No no, tell her it's for a cutlery business. That'll explain the forge, and the mill, and the lathe, and stuff. :v:
I can be a salesmen, runs in my blood. I sold a dood a century arms WASR for twice what it was worth.
yeah we could do cutlery. I wouldn't mind churning out some knives
Facepunch Knives "We now make guns!"
I don't think Garry would like us using the FP name
