The case length is the same, it just has a bullet that's taller and a different style. So yeah, the bullet's probably seated farther forward on the surplus.

Went to just about every place around town yesterday to find a first gun.
Every gun store and pawnshop around town is either picked clean or the prices are bumped to over $1000, presumably due to all the panic buying.
It was displeasing.
