I want one of those too but I'd get some of those 50 round drums rather than dealing with bx25s or hot lips
That'd make an awesome self defense system.
Just mount it on a spring arm on the ceiling at the top of a staircase and pull it down when baddies try to come up.

A G19 is a good all around pistol. Good size, affordable, decent round, good mag capacity. Personally, I still found it a bit on the bulky side for CC, but it'll definitely get the job done. As for home defense it's the perfect size.
On an unrelated note, does ANYONE know where to find 8mm Mauser that isn't 1950s Persian surplus?

I wish we could get them here, but the RCMP decided the SCAR 16s and 17s are both converted autos and banned them, and of course FN doesn't give enough of a shit about Canada to fix the fact that you can apparently literally drop the auto parts in the semi gun and it suddenly is capable of automatic fire.

Remington produces the selective fire (Military, LEO) variants.
