I've always been a fan of .45 Auto, but one day I wanna try out 9x19 and my sights are currently set on the Beretta Px4 Storm after I got to familiarize myself with a pretty nice airsoft model. Anyone familiar?
Welp, Obama talked about gun ban again. Electric Boogaloo heeeeere we go.

"These rounds have a devastating effect on the body," Dobersen said. "Can you imagine seeing multiple wounds from this? Even one bullet wound is devastating, but those from high-capacity magazines are especially bad."
I feel ashamed to find out the murdercube is Canadian, not because of the meme, but because it exhibits the murder of 7000 pieces of history, the artists who made it are anti-gun, and it's put on display next to photos of victims of "gun violence" in order to try and create an emotional hatred for firearms. Absolutely disgusting. It figures this would be on display at one of the UN's headquarters.
Foolish artists! In their vain attempt to demonize guns they created a GOD! A GOD I SAY! ALL HAIL MUDERCUBE! ALL HAIL MURDERCUBE!
Kind of funny how obama says "They deserve a vote" in relation to newton, etc. Rockford deserves a vote. We lead most of the nation when it comes to violent crime, rape and property offenses.
pretty good because I use Kahn mags, not glock factory mags. tbh our groups will probably be about the same, I've got a tuned trigger and aftermarket barrel in mine. if anything I have a slight advantage for using higher velocity .40 S&W. there's no telling where the skill advantage will go
You are probably right that our groups would be about the same. However, shooter skill aside, gun for gun the 1911 is always going to have the advantage. Couple of reasons for this, but the main reason being the trigger pull. Doesn't matter what kind of trigger you have, nothing can compete against the ease and natural pull of the 1911's trigger (single-action revolver would be the only thing to top it). Second, depending on the 1911 of course, you are looking at a match-grade fitted barrel and bushing combo. As far as accuracy shooting is concerned, there isn't a better option for a semi-auto. As far as .40 vs .45, no advantage difference for either one really, at least within ranges of 300 meters, maybe even more. Both the calibers can reach the same distances, you just have to aim them differently. If there is an advantage that exists, it would have to go to the .45 because of recoil. The .40 produces a much sharper recoil than the .45, even .45 +P. Oh yea, I have no hate towards Glocks, they are excellent guns. I've owned a few myself, and never had a minutes issue with any of them. Over time though I went different routes, and I kept the guns that worked the best for me, which is why I currently do not have any Glocks.
Lol, Newtown's last crime was on Dec. 14th of last year. Rockford's last reported crime was around 20 minutes ago.
My gun wishlist: All of them [editline]13th February 2013[/editline] Also, in a totally unrelated story, I just watched a movie that had Lee Enfield obrezes in it. It was p. neat
And the mag cap bill passed committee here in Colorado, amended to limit rifles and pistols to 15 rounds, and shotguns to 8.
And the mag cap bill passed committee here in Colorado, amended to limit rifles and pistols to 15 rounds, and shotguns to 8.
there aren't a whole lot of shotguns with more rounds than that anyway. at least they're not being dicks about it
Dear god, Obama is freaking retarded. I just watched his "deserve a vote" speech. Really? He used the young girl that was shot in Chicago as his example? A girl that was shot in a city that has the highest crime rate in the country and by far some of the strictest gun control laws, and she was shot by a revolver, a gun that would be completely unaffected by any proposed legislation. Sorry Mr. Obama, try again.
How's the pistol mag cap gonna work? It's not like you can just stick a shorter mag in the gun, and I'm not forseeing pinned pistol mags really being a thing
How's the pistol mag cap gonna work? It's not like you can just stick a shorter mag in the gun, and I'm not forseeing pinned pistol mags really being a thing
Lawmakers is all dumb n stuff, they'd probably let pinned mags slide through.
That seems like awfully a lot of work just to drop the capacity down 2 rounds.
That seems like awfully a lot of work just to drop the capacity down 2 rounds.
It's not them doing the work, though. That is why it is irrelevant. One member of the committee proposed an amendment that would limit rifles and pistols to 31 rounds, and shotguns to 20. It got 2 yes votes and 9 no.

Anyone know where I can get an FP45 reproduction at a price that's CLOSER to its original unit price than 700 bucks?
[editline]13th February 2013[/editline] wait so did dumb shit ACTUALLY pass in colorado?
Anyone know where I can get an FP45 reproduction at a price that's CLOSER to its original unit price than 700 bucks?
Why would you want a gun that was only good for maybe 10 shots before it fell apart? [editline]13th February 2013[/editline]
wait so did dumb shit ACTUALLY pass in colorado?
It passed committee. Both houses of state Congress and the governor's desk are held by Dems.
It passed committee. Both houses of state Congress and the governor's desk are held by Dems.
I assume committee means it still needs to pass the houses? Any idea by how much they hold the houses? If it's only a slim margin someone is bound to defect
I should try and make as much money as I can making simple magazines so that I can afford the molds/stamps/whatever.
Colorado State Senate has 35 members, 20 of which are Democrat held Colorado State House has 65 members, 37 being Democrat
