Any suggestions on a gun safe to hold multiple rifles that won't cost me my left testicle, but is still secure enough to keep in my garage?
I still want a military armory gun rack
I still want a military armory gun rack
pls no that would make your guns 200% more lethal

A garage isn't a very secure place to store firearms. It's magnitudes easier to break into a garage undetected than the inside of the home.

We had this on sale for like 275 a few weeks back. Not sure where you got 900 pounds from. It only took 2 of us to move this around to where it was supposed to go, so as long as there's no stairs involved you should be fine with a little help.
Guys, I found a luger from my dads garage. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa
looks awesome, get it refurbished
looks awesome, get it refurbished
I'll do that once I get the license for this thing, just found it while digging through my fathers old stuff and trying to find some furniture for my new home in a few years, damn... This thing is fucking epic!
License? Where do you live. Also, where the barrel meets the receiver, I think there should be a date on it, mind posting it?
His Steam profile says Finland.
License? Where do you live. Also, where the barrel meets the receiver, I think there should be a date on it, mind posting it?
Finland. I thought I already posted a picture with the date on it?

With the amount of original finish left on it, it'd probably be better to leave it as original as possible. It's worth more that way. Does it match? It looks like a war time model so it was probably made somewhere before 1918, you can tell by the Imperial proof stamps. yayloogers! [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1939265/GUUNZ/PICT0472.JPG[/img_thumb] Mine's a war-time DWM too :)
All the parts match.
Then getting it refinished isn't a very good idea. People pay a lot less for Lugers that don't have the original finish, and yours really isn't missing much of the finish. Just get some 00 steel wool and lightly rub over the rust spots to remove the rust, but trying to remove as little bluing as possible. Your grip strap will be pitted, but you mostly just want to stop it from rusting any further.

I want a Luger but most of them are banned here and the ones that aren't either cost a metric fuckton or are one that was banned that someone put a new-manufacture legal barrel on, kinda ruining the gun IMO. Fuck arbitrary barrel length restrictions, they deliberately put them just above 4" specifically for shit like this. [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] Also, everyone and their grandma in Canada has a Russian SKS, they bring them in every 6 months in shipments of 30,000 and they sell them for under $200. At that price, it's no wonder everyone has one.
get an artillery luger, those have 200mm barrels
So I went on Armlist, AKA AR15 List at the moment, and saw this.
For Sale: Stg44 Price: $1,250.00 Seller: Private Party Gsg stg44 shot a few times in wooden crate with extra mag
isn't it just actually smuggling the gun that's illegal, and nothing illegal about owning a smuggled gun? in theory I could walk across the border into the US with an SVT shoved up my bum and once I get home it's mine, so long as they don't catch me with it at the border, right? I might have to work on stretching that anal cavity, I want to bring 4 or 5 SVTs home

I mean, as long as you made it across the border without suspicion, who's to say it wasn't already in the country? [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] I would imagine you need to be a Canadian citizen to purchase a firearm in Canada though
[thumb]http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/IMG_1583.jpg[/thumb] Americans, why don't you just mount spade-grips and walk around Feinstein? :v:
looks like it's about time for a new paint job on that Porsche of yours
Nah, just needs a good polish.
Okay, well how do you suggest getting a 900lb safe into the house? lol
there are safes you can buy that come disassembled and you put them together and lock them in place. Thats what my dad is going to do, since we have to get ours in the basement and theres no other way to do it
get an artillery luger, those have 200mm barrels
I saw a whole package of one once, drum mag (not pinned here too!), Luger, and stock for $5000 at a gun show. If I'd had the cash, I'd have bought it, but I didn't, so I told the dude he was about $15,000 short of the actual value of the gun. But there's the problem with artillery Lugers, they're expensive as fuck.
I don't have one :C
You need to fix that then, since you're both Russian and Canadian, it's unpatriotic on both counts for you not to have one.
looks like it's about time for a new paint job on that Porsche of yours
More like some soap and water. The dust is terrible here.
