That reminds me, I need to take my RPK to the range this weekend. I haven't shot it since I got it back from the gunsmith yet..
Do they normally have a carry handle like that? I like it, makes me think of an SLR
yep, well the romanian ones do. i like those more than any of the others
liberal doublethink 1. Cops killed Dorner, cops are bad/corrupt. 2. But only cops should have guns. so frustrated right now.
liberal doublethink 1. Cops killed Dorner, cops are bad/corrupt. 2. But only cops should have guns. so frustrated right now.
Implying to be liberal you must hate guns
I seriously don't get why so many people think dorner was the good guy
Hate to break it to you, but in the US, gun bans are a hallmark of the democratic party and liberals in general.
I seriously don't get why so many people think dorner was the good guy
Because his crimes make him seem like an action hero ~A former navy seal sniper explosives expert and former LAPD agent leaves the force to take on the corruption and clean up the mean streets~ [editline]14th February 2013[/editline]
Hate to break it to you, but in the US, gun bans are a hallmark of the democratic party and liberals in general.
Doesn't mean all libs and dems are anti-gun [editline]14th February 2013[/editline] Also dumb question, anyone know if I can just buy any old AK follower and use it in a 40 round mag?
I'd consider myself very liberal but I hate any sort of gun control. Probably has something to do with growing up in cowboy country, or being raised to shoot a gun by the time I was 6. Oh well, they're fun and controlling them will end up just like controlling drugs.
I seriously don't get why so many people think dorner was the good guy
Yep. He should have been going after the LAPD heads rather than gunning downs some random officers if he really wanted revenge or whatever. Even then it will still be wrong. That guy is fucked in the head [editline]14th February 2013[/editline]
Hate to break it to you, but in the US, gun bans are a hallmark of the democratic party and liberals in general.
In the US, where both sides throw around retarded and incorrect political terms
Doesn't mean all libs and dems are anti-gun
You said it
I'm registered Republican, but am pro choice and pro gay marriage.
I seriously don't get why so many people think dorner was the good guy
Well I don't necessarily think he was the "good guy" Just better than LAPD. I would feel safer walking around the east side of Detroit at night than I would hanging around LA cops [editline]14th February 2013[/editline] Keeping in mind that LAPD opened fire on innocent people in search of Dorner
Anyone seen the new Barrett M240LW? They managed to shave 6lbs off the weight and reduce manufacturing costs over the normal M240. They did it by have a machined 2 piece receiver instead of the riveted one used in the normal M240 That takes it into Minimi territory
I wish there were more 9mm 1911s. Most 9mm 1911s I see either have front slide serrations, stainless steel, or compact size (all terrible traits IMO). The only good one I see is the Rock Island Armory 1911. The only thing that turns me off about it is the large and highlight roll marks on slide. It would be so nice if Colt or Springfield made of version of there GI/mil-spec 1911 in 9mm.

Does anyone know how Sig's SA/DA option functions? I was looking up SRT versus DAK, and it says DAK is for DAO pistols, but I see on a Sig catalogue that you can get a SA/DA 226 with a DAK trigger, how does this work if the only purpose of the DAK is in follow up shots, which should be in SA? Does Sig use a decocker, or is there a way to force it to operate in DAO?
military should combine this with the existing m240l for maximum lightweight gpmg
the USMC decided to avoid the M240L because the titanium used in everything is too expensive, both to machine and in terms of material. It looks like this requires a lot more machining and may make it just as or more expensive
If a mag ban goes through in the DPRIL, I'll be reduced to: 2 M1911 Magazines 1 Makarov magazine 1 Beretta .25 magazines
everyone move to arizona ok we're the best state

It's a rare setup because not very many people like it.
I'm registered Republican, but am pro choice and pro gay marriage.
He-hey; I'm not the only one!
If a mag ban goes through in the DPRIL, I'll be reduced to: 2 M1911 Magazines 1 Makarov magazine 1 Beretta .25 magazines
Doesn't the bill, as ridiculous as it may be, I'm sure; have a post de facto stipulation that already-owned firearms, magazines, and such are exempt?
everyone move to arizona ok we're the best state
Move to Georgia, we have 2 seasons, onions, and peaches!

Does Sig use a decocker, or is there a way to force it to operate in DAO?
DAK was made for double-action only systems, and it's whole purpose is to aid with trigger short-strokes by giving it two reset points. Basically, when you pull the trigger all the way back to fire the gun it has a 6.5lbs pull. Once the gun has been fired, if you hold the trigger down while the slide is cycling you can engage the intermediate trigger reset point. The intermediate point is about half the distance to the standard reset point, and when you engage it, it has an 8lbs trigger pull instead of a 6.5lbs. It's basically there in case the user panics when trying to fire. Sig's intentions with the design was for the trigger to be reset fully every pull, and have the DAK system there in case of a screw up. Unfortunately, a lot of people use the system wrong, and they engage the intermediate pull every time, which gives them a much heavier pull. I don't really see how much of a purpose the system would serve on a SA/DA though. I would like to see a brochure or something about what you are talking about if possible. Are you sure it isn't being listed as SA/DA or DAK?
I'm talking about whatever The Democratic People's Republic of Illinois is going to be stupid.
I see. Come to the Free Republic of Virginia, then! You can't have sex with anything other than in the missionary position; and the state senate still thinks they can legally impose Religion on us, but atleast we gots our guns and taxes are manageable at best!
military should combine this with the existing m240l for maximum lightweight gpmg
Make the MG too light and when it runs away it literally runs away. :v:
I suppose a gpmg needs a good amount of weight to negate most of the recoil for accurate firing
Not if you plant it properly
