[t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/34238144/boolet%20v-day.jpg[/t] So I remembered I had a ton of pink Federal 12ga and decided to make this for my friend for today.
Been working on the Flintlock pistol: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/HdM7p97.jpg[/img_thumb] Spent the greater part of the last two days getting everything ready to do that ramrod channel so I could get the thimbles in, the rear thimble is the hardest to do thanks to it's long tail. I'll get the front thimble in tomorrow, should be a piece of cake by comparison. I don't look forward to drilling the pin holes though. Also got this in the mail today: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/5iR2g1o.jpg[/img_thumb] 25 pounds of BP baby.
Ok, so I got 2 blocks of ballistic gel in the freezer at the moment, gonna take them with me to the range tomorrow if they're solid. Gonna shoot one with my mosin m44, and the other with some hollow point .223's, will post pics if it turns out cool.
the fact they're too easy to shoot is why a lot of people hate them, at least I do. It's ergonomics aren't that great for me and I don't like it's typical trigger safety or lack of hammer.
I think they shoot great; I just don't care for their grips or the triggers on them. The triggers dig in to my finger, and the grip is a touch to forward for me to comfortably shoot. But everyone's different, on both regards. You can't question their reliability, though. I'd still trust myself with my 1911, though; and find it's a more accurate shot for me and more comfortable.
-I can't repeat the evilness hosted by such imagery-
Why would you scar us all, like that? Just, why? :(
Why would you scar us all, like that? Just, why? :(
Let this be a warning to you child, the Murdercube has no mercy for those who anger it. It's scorn knows no bounds and it's wrath is endless. Heed it's warnings in the future and you may avoid it's punishment Murdercube be thy name, Amen.

Nopenopenope. Not going to pass, and if it does, literally no one that I know who owns an "assault weapon" would comply.
COULD YOU HAVE CHOSEN A SMALLER FUCKING PICTURE bigger pls so i can actually fucking see it
Wow sorry didn't realize Facebook was going to be gay about the link. Here ya go again Mk3 Lee Enfield, manufactured in Blighty in 1946 then shipped to India for police duties and stuff. It does have volley sights as well. Although, I'm unsure of the manufacturer. I'm also missing the actual 'cup' that's used to launch things with, so ill have to pick up one of those. All I need is a Mosin then ill have every rifle from WWII in my collection.
Take a picture of the wrist where the date is stamped and I can tell you the manufacturer. You'll struggle to find a Lee with a grenade cup, I live in Australia (pretty much ever gun owner has a Lee here) and I've never seen one [editline]15th February 2013[/editline] Also, I was under the impression every Indian Lee was made in Ishapore
They're not hard to come by? I've seen shitloads of them on Gunbroker. Usually under $100. [editline]14th February 2013[/editline]
Also, I was under the impression every Indian Lee was made in Ishapore
The Brits sent guns over there sporadically when they needed it.
haha silly government banning 3D printed magazines I have the files backed up in several places you bloody bastards!

Can you take a picture of the opposite side of the rifle
The Brits had stopped making No.IIIs by then and were well into production of the 4. Can't see them restarting No.III production for them
You're right, but there were other commonwealth countries making it. I'm not sure what "Blighty" is though. Doesn't really help pin where the rifle was made.
"Blighty" often refers to England. [editline]15th February 2013[/editline] Which it can't be a BSA, LSA, Enfield or Sparkbrook because they all ceased production of the No.1 in the mid-30s [editline]15th February 2013[/editline] So it's either a Lithgow or an RFI/GRI But if it has volley sights it means 1 of 2 things: 1) The forend is a repro or is not original to the rifle 2) The date was misread and the rifle was made in 1916
Enfields are confusing
Aussies made No.1s until the SLR replaced them
Because Australia is Britain Pretty sure Blight is supposed to mean the UK [editline]15th February 2013[/editline] Look for an arrowhead mark. If it has that it's a Lithgrow Enfield
The arrowhead actually means Commonwealth property. Canadian, New Zealand, and pre-independence Indian rifles also have them. Lithgow's mark is a 6-pointed star
My Enfield is 1943 dated and also marked US Property C: My Mosin is a hex receiver made in 1924 I struck small gold, boys. I really didn't expect anything special from either of the rifles, but lurking in this thread revealed some nice features on them!

When jungle taping mags, is the second mag supposed to face down or up?

The magazine won't fit in the gun because the other gets in the way, you need clearance between the magazines. In the picture you've posted they're staggered facing opposite directions so they don't collide. Alternatively, you could go the G36 way and have a spacer between them so they don't get in the way
