Not the same height of course, it is just I've seen it both ways.

That's three magazines clipped together, alternating between up and down, though.
I believe to have magazines attached together, all facing the same way, you'd need some sort of space between them, like with the SG 550 series' magazines that have raised studs on the side to snap together.
You can't tape them together facing the same way and expect it to work. The magazine won't fit in the gun because the other gets in the way, you need clearance between the magazines. In the picture you've posted they're staggered facing opposite directions so they don't collide. Alternatively, you could go the G36 way and have a spacer between them so they don't get in the way
I knew they would have to be at differing heights, I was just asking if you were supposed to have them face down or face up or if it didn't matter. That's all I need the answer to. I read somewhere that having the mag face down was apparently wrong (I assume because you can get mud or something in them?)
It is obvious you can't have the mags at the same height, all I am asking is if it is right to have them face down or face up.

Please explain; how will setting them at different hights but all the same way enable you to fit all of your magazines to your gun?

See how they're at different heights? Well you just do the same but the other way

So... How do you get the lower magazine into your gun?
So... How do you get the lower magazine into your gun?
Push mag release, pull out magazine, flip over, put in magazine, pull bolt. I had jungle taped mags for my AKM and they worked fine, like I said I am asking a simple question "Are you supposed to have the rounds facing down, up, or does it not matter?"

How do you, with the magazines facing the same way, get the lower magazine into the gun? How can you not be getting this?
How do you, with the magazines facing the same way, get the lower magazine into the gun? How can you not be getting this?
So you're saying you can't then? Why not say that in the first place? I don't have my AKM anymore so I can't check it for myself. Sheesh

The lower mag is UPSIDE DOWN
So the bit you stick into the gun is at the bottom and not blocked by the other two mags, I don't even own any guns and i can still figure that one out just by looking at the pictures.
oh wait i'm informing the wrong person, my mistake.
no pachira you can't tape mags together the same way up because the other one won't be able to fit unless you stick a block of wood between them or something before taping them.

The Canadian arsenal acceptance mark is often referred to as the "C-broad arrow" mark around here.

Also if it was made in Canada it's easy to tell, we only made No4s and 5s at Long Branch, and they're stamped "Long Branch" on the receiver. Like Aus, everyone in Canada has a Lee, and the most desirable are Long Branch. Long Branch made Lees into the mid '50s, and started in the early '40s.

Thank you, that's all I need
i'd take some pictures to demonstrate, but all i have is airsoft mags and i'm not going to clutter up the real guns thread with my airshit :v:

I thought I made it pretty clear it wouldn't work in the begining

He said they're the same way, not upside down

I didn't say they're the same way. I did say I had an AKM so clearly I know what the AKM mags look like. I was saying "See how they're at different heights? Well you just do the same but the other way". Basically meaning I was saying how this might work using the different heights as an example.
I was just mistaken in thinking what I was saying was possible. That's all, no need to draw this out any further. I apologize for any inconvenience
So a company out in Saskatoon is trying to bring in semi-auto RPDs for classification. Since they're not a Kalashnakov platform gun, I'm hoping they get non-restricted, and since they're a designed pre-'46 belt fed, there's no mag restrictions for them because of the belt.
I want one, but they're liable to cost lods of emone, which I don't have, because I plan on spending it on other shit.
Also, if any of my fellow Canuckistanians from Bantario have a Sig 226, I'll trade you some rounds out of my rifles for some rounds out of your Sig. I'd offer some out of my pistols too, but I'm not sure I could get the ATT, especially with what Wyatt's doing right now. Same goes for anyone with a S&W 686. If need be I can bring my own ammo for them. I'm once again looking at these 2 handguns, and want to try them out without paying $40+$15 for like 1 mag out of each at Target Sports.

I'm not from Missouri, but I can tell you that won't pass.
So I had a community blog idea. I've been personally wanting to start a firearms related blog for awhile. I was going to do it solely by myself, but I think it would be nice to have a couple of people making entries into it. I have general ideas for blog posts, such as reviews for guns/equipment, personal recommendations, factual information to answer questions, gun politics, etc.
My plan is to do this regardless if no one else is interested. However, I'd really like it if some of the regulars in this thread would contribute to it. My knowledge lies primarily in current/modern equipment, but I know that there are a lot of folks on here that have good knowledge of historical firearms, etc. I want people to be forward with their opinions, but be factual at the same time. I would also like some pro-gun/knowledgeable folks from outside of the U.S. to contribute as well.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, let's get it rolling. I would like a general consensus on where to host the blog, etc. I have currently been working on a post related to flashlights, weaponlights, and LED vs Halogen Bulbs.

I think myself and Kartoffel may need to speak with you about some more ideas sometime.
Sounds like a cool idea Foster.

Magpul has said that, even with the exception, they will still leave if the bill becomes law.

They should set up base in a state like Montana where the FFA was forged up, and a high level of gun ownership already exists.
hi capacity magazines save lives right?
aurora colorado shooter could have killed more people except his beta mag jammed iirc
The bill passed in Colorado. Great.
Edit: Also someone slap this lady.
No, it was an amendment to allow them to manufacture hi cap mags in Colorado, but not sell them to people in the state.
