I liked this one: [t]http://gatfacts.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/40.jpg[/t]
the only factual gatfact.
I met this really cool former Marine yesterday that knew what I can only assume is way more than me about firearms. He showed me a picture of his Saiga 12 with a 20 round drum mag and extendable stock. It was so purdy. Also, I mentioned that someone told me pmags were terrible and he just laughed. In other news, sold a Colt Carbine yesterday and the customer seemed so happy. We also got a Bushmaster in, which I would totally buy for almost $100 off with my discount if it was next week. I'm torn between buying a full AR at 10% discount and buying a parts kit. I used to think they were stupid, but I fell in love when I handled my first Sig M400 a few months ago. Oh, what are your guys' thoughts on the DPMS Sportical? We sell them for somewhere in the $600 range and I like the look of them, aside from the flat top. Of course, that could be changed so I'm thinking of getting one with my tax return.
DPMS (Don't, Purchase, Me, Stupid) are best avoided in general. They're more trouble than they're worth. Heck if I had no other choice I'd just take Shrubmaster over them.
dpms lowers are all right, just buy a bcg and trigger group from a different brand
The Sportical is a real piece of crap gun. I would avoid it. Wait a couple months. Background checks in Colorado are back to normal now. There is nothing left to buy. Things will be going up for sale pretty soon, as these people who brought themselves to the brink of financial ruin buying as many ARs as they could at double the MSRP have to pay their credit card bills...
Can't wait to start buying norinco SKS' for 200$ again
Can't wait to start buying norinco SKS' for 200$ again
I'm thinking that won't likely happen in the long run. I'm afraid the day of cheap sks's has passed.
I'm thinking that won't likely happen in the long run. I'm afraid the day of cheap sks's has passed.
With all the retards flooding the market with the SKS' they panic bought, we'll probably see them go for as low as 200$ for a month or 2.
So i heard something about Colorado and magazines.
That was me sorry
I liked this one: [t]http://gatfacts.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/40.jpg[/t]
but hi points are actually very good guns
They're not bad for the price but you get what you pay for
my friend has one and it has never jammed, and is a perfectly serviceable pistol. it's basically a cheap glock. the fit and finish is very nice, but not as good as a glock's. it's just a low-tier glock, but that's still p damn good
I don't think you could pay me to own a hi point handgun
The firing pin is the real problem with them, they handle overpressure loads pretty well
I don't think you could pay me to own a hi point handgun
You could pay me to own any firearm...
you could pay me to own a hi point 995 but not a pistol
So, does anyone know where to buy 5.56 in bulk for cheap? [editline]16th February 2013[/editline] Or is it too early to ask that...
Everywhere I've checked is still backordered till late march
I've never understood why would you design and produce an ugly gun.
Everywhere I've checked is still backordered till late march
Ah. It's a good thing we ordered some tracer bullets and primed casings, along with some powder. :v:
I've never understood why would you design and produce an ugly gun.
because it's cheap
I saw what used to be a beautiful Enfield Jungle Carbine at the gun shop today someone bubba'd it by putting a shit-tier basspro stock and scope on it needless to say I broke down and cried right there They also had a Garand but it was like $1500 so I didn't buy it, they also had several non-shitty Enfields but all of them were way overpriced so I might hold out and see if they go down [editline]16th February 2013[/editline]
I've never understood why would you design and produce an ugly gun.
because you work for Intratec
because it's cheap
But there are plenty of cheap guns that aren't ugly. [editline]16th February 2013[/editline] Hell just look at Russian weaponry.
But there are plenty of cheap guns that aren't ugly. [editline]16th February 2013[/editline] Hell just look at Russian weaponry.
not 100$ .45 pistol cheap. I wonder what the actual cost of those shite pistols are.
Hi Points are ugly, but they're also balls on accurate and never quite plus a lifetime guarantee. If I need a 100 pistol, it prob be a hi point I'd buy.

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/gqhxtGy.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/5B4q1uk.jpg[/img_thumb] That slot is about 5/32" wide, I had to take an old saw blade and grind it into a chisel to get in there, and even then it was about 2 hours or so of scraping away until it was deep enough. But it paid off, there is NO wiggle at all in the trigger at all, just a nice short pull until the flint cuts loose. I went old school and the trigger is pinned through the stock itself, the pin is held in place by friction and the lock plate.

So my granddad has lent me his Walther pp for six months but he's recently had the slide reblued and as a result the little red dot on the safety is gone. I want to repaint that but I don't know what sort of paint I should use anyone wanna help me out here?
Finally took the mosin out shooting at my friend's farm today. 86 years old, dead accurate first time shooting it I expected nothing else. Blew up some water jugs and cinder blocks. I also hit a fencepost at 200 meters [sp]after trying 6 times.[/sp]
