WIP Kartoffel Family gun room
Looks pretty secure, I'd store my guns there.
Steel door is awesome. :v:
Are you sure that's not a P1, the post-war model? I don't think Walther stamped their logo on wartime P38s.
Also, the fact that you need to have the ugly-ass importers mark on your guns is terrible.
Traded my Glock today.
My Glock 19 2nd gen w/3 15rd mags, 1 30rd mag, two holsters and 200rds of Federal 9mm for
Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec w/1 7rd mag, 2 Wilson Combat 8rd mags, 400rds of training ammo and 50rds of hollow points

I've used a similar set of grips before and they're pretty comfortable. great if you're used to big fat double stack pistols like I am, probably pretty terrible if you're used to slimmer pistols though
Guys, I gotta ask:
Why the fuck are handguns so expensive? At least in private sales?

I dunno, maybe I'm just cheap, but there doesn't seem to be anything below $400 that would be nice. Why isn't there any Slavshit around here for sale? :v:

I know I've asked this before- but is the SKS NY illegal now? All the ones I see on gunbroker won't ship here. If they are, what's the best classy semi-auto under $600? (Or maybe I should just wait?)

wait or move somewhere without shitty laws if your willing to..
wait or move somewhere without shitty laws if your willing to..
Pretty much this... I don't know if the SKS is specifically banned in your state; but if you give them enough time, they'll try and ban it and every other death-dealing-potential weapons down to your pens!
You would have to pin the magazine to 7 rounds, sanitise any "military" features from it and then it might be ok...

10rd internal mag, you can leave it as it is. But you are only allowed to load 7 rounds into it.
If you were to convert it to detachable mags, it would be illegal then, as it is an assault weapon.

I thought 10ers were only allowed before the ban, then after that they couldn't be sold in state?

Yes, but the ban doesn't go into effect until next January, I think.
Should make a kit to press out your own mags.
"No Officer, I had all these magazines before the ban."

Look at the Polymer guns like S&W M&P's, Sig 2022's, Glocks, Styer M9A1's, Carcal's, XD's, and the like, got to handle a Styer M9 and a Jericho (Baby Eagle) at cabela's saturday... both feel fantastic in hand.

I'm not. They took advantage of a situation with the sole purpose of getting more money from their customers. My business will gladly go to honest companies that don't take advantage of their customers. Midway, Brownells, Buds, etc. will continue to have my business.

G10 master race. I've tried running different types of grips on my Rail Gun, but I always go back to my gunner grips. I shot my Rail Gun last night with the Pachmayr wrap around grips. Great grip, but after my hands started sweating, grip got stupid loose in my hand. First thing I did when I got home was put my gunners back on.

It's a combination of the two greatest principles that the world has seen, in my opinion.
