Can someone please help my find tokarev ammo that isn't in bulk? I'm willing to pay up to 30 usd for 50 rounds. How the fuck did this stuff become so expensive? I bought a Tokarev and now it is a tactical paperweight.
It is virtually impossible to find a website selling the ammo as is.

Why not use the surplus? It's not like the TT-33 is meant for amazing accuracy. I got 2280 rounds with mine, all I do is run the barrel under hot water when I get back from the range.
Speaking thereof, I should probably use more then just Breakfree CLP for my SVT's barrel after shooting corrosive through it.

You don't know if they're stupid or not, but given the market condition the prices are probably just fine.
The only stupid price is the one that doesn't maximize your profits.

For the Enfield owners out there - I got one today, but a few things about it are troubling me, hoping someone could answer some questions.
The bolt doesn't close all the way when I cycle it. I open it, draw it back and then close it, and then the bolt kinda shifts upward a little. Sometimes it shifts enough that the bolt will shoot open all of the sudden. Speaking of which... are Enfield bolts supposed to do that? If I cycle mine and then close it (as in ready to fire), then if I just barely touch the bolt handle the thing flies open and to the rear... I mean I could tickle the thing with a feather and it just flies open. It's a No.4 Mk1 if that helps.

Definitely not a gun you should try to fire, sounds like it's not locking properly.
Try and find where it's hanging up, could be something in the chamber or it could be something in or around the rear sight base. Look around the bolt release button too.
If everything looks clear there, disassemble the bolt and check inside for buildup of dust and crud.
