I'm not entirely sure how to word this without sounding like an incredibly horrible person, but is anyone else going to "laugh" if these EOs or whatever else ever manage to pass, and then someone commits a shooting with the arbitrarily not banned items?
Like, when someone walks into a school with a mag-capped pistol and plain Jane mini-14 and does just as much damage?
I don't mean laugh in the literal sense, but it is definitely dark humor. Irony, I suppose.
Of course, it probably won't change anything and other equally arbitrary things will be brought up to sidestep the issue.
EO's cannot ban anything. They can only enhance existing laws. Which is what they did. The EOs were good reinforcement to help prevent similar atrocities by encouraging cooperation between agencies and the like.

I think we have 5 or 6 in Georgia including me, 2 in Florida, 1 in Mississippi, and 1 in Louisiana. We might have some in the Carolina's or Virginia's but I can't remember.
