but it's not on the streets :downs:
Get those guns off our streetSS!!!! Evil guns!!!!!!!! The only LOGICAL solution is to BAN THEM ALL AND FEAR THEM FOR ETERNITY!!!
On a more serious note, I've never understood why people who don't live in the U.S. think they can understand our culture and actually give an opinion on gun control.
I don't understand how there can be people in the US who don't understand the 2nd Amendment, I'm Canadian and I can understand what it's about.
Because in the US, people unfortunately still have the freedom to be ignorant as fuck.
Yeah, here in Norway most of the gunlaws are based on common sense, not things like "no flashsnipermachinegunhiders and no shoulder things that go up"
We for example have a requirement for gunsafes for every gun owner, which I think would be a good idea for americans, but this is my opinion.
Unregulated suppressors too.
You know, so you won't wake up your neightboors if you suddently decide to go shooting at 2 in the morning.
I can't help myself, so I have watched quite a few videos from Shot Show 2013. I found this new series of Radom made assault rifles quite interesting by how many modern features they simply have.

Looks like an ACR that's better thought out.
I want one.
Canadians already contacted Radom, no civvie versions for a few years.
eh I prefer the ARX-160 when it comes to those types of guns.

THANK YOU! I've been trying to remember the name of that rifle for the last week for something, but I couldn't remember the maker to figure it out!
But yeah, the MSBS does look like a metallic ACR with better controls and a better twist rate, if I remember correctly. It also looks quite front heavy as well, which I don't mind but I know a lot of people dislike.

I think trigger locks would be fine as a requirement. Not everyone has a real need for a gun safe, and decent gun safes are pretty expensive. If you live with other family or children, then it should be a requirement to own a gun safe. But if you live alone or with people who understand firearms safety, trigger locks are fine. Only reason I want one is to protect my firearms from fires.

Looks like a fish to me.
You know, I have 2 guns in cases just sitting behind my door in my room. I have a younger sister, but she's smart enough to know not to touch them, and both my parents know enough about guns to be safe with them.
I love gun education, because it... prevents the problems before they happen? Cool.
I wish I was less frugal though otherwise I'd buy one of those Mossberg 500 FLEX deals or something by now. I also wish I didn't mind hunting or else I'd have more use for my guns.
I wonder, what do you reckon the hunter vs pure enthusiast ratio is on facepunch? I've never went hunting a day in my life but we've owned around 8 guns.
Hunting bores me, I've been and it's just eh
I only find hunting to be fun when I go out for a week with nothing more than what I can carry, then radio for pickup when I run out of supplies or get something. :v:
Lot more to that than just bashing around in the forest on an ATV until you run over a deer or sitting in a half assed tent for hours and hours like some weekend sniper.
Hunting is pretty boring, sitting in the same place for hours on end waiting for a deer to show up. I'm pretty much a pure hobbyist I guess. Maybe I'll enjoy hunting when I'm an AARP member.

Yeah, but for 'those types of guns' looks don't matter.

The assault musket would probably be even slower to reload because there is so much shit in the way.
So I go out to range today with Vintovka Mosina for first time, and find rifle can hit narrowest side of barn across Volga river, now is worth whole 3 potato!
But seriously, the Mosin was astoundingly accurate with absolutely no adjustments needed, and anyone who complains about recoil or cycling the action is a weak pussy, that thing kicks less than a .303.

The fact that you can own AKs and full auto makes me sad, I need to make myself feel better somehow...
Good point I spose'.
