Don't MAC-10/11's go for something like $5k or so?
Before the shit-storm you could get a MAC-10 with Suppressor for around $3500 + tax stamps costs, etc.
Yeah the Soviet Union is pretty interesting to me but communism is dumb as hell There's a reason I'm a republican
So some auction house had a Garand up with serial number 0000000. http://www.juliaauctions.com/auctions/div_catalog_264.asp?pageREQ=no Lot 1053.
I like how in a 10.000$ auction they specify that the gun comes with a sling. [editline]25th February 2013[/editline] Damn, those are some sweet, sweet guns.
I love the symbolism of that flag. The Gadsden snake crowning a sunflower that grows out of gold (fuck you, fiat money). The black and yellow colours of anarchocapitalism, the "Sic Semper Tyrannis" motto on the top left.... Pretty sweet.
What the hell is anarchocapitalism?
What the hell is anarchocapitalism?
It's a sub-economics of biomarxis'capitalisocialism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchocapitalism It's a theoretical exercise, but it has plenty of damn good ideas.
That - - - My head How about a short n sweet version?
You let people do whatever they want as long as they respect a very restrained legal code that everyone agreed on. There's no state, so people privately provide courts to settle disputes and a police force to maintain order. It basically holds individual freedom as the ultimate goal and purpose.
I always preferred sociomarxiscommucapitalism [sub][sub]I can't economics[/sub][/sub]
idk about a private court and police force, but other than that it sounds pretty good.
idk about a private court and police force, but other than that it sounds pretty good.
Yeah, that's why it's mostly an utopian ideal. But the principles stand.
Yup, traded it in, got about a grand for it. This car ended up being about 23k with fees and taxes and crap. Going to be probably 2 more to register it.
Well you'll be paying off that puppy for awhile then :V Red car bros though!
Hi. I fired a gun for the first time yesterday. Went with Strider_07 to the range when he was testing out his SKS and I fired his Mosin a couple times. I think I could get used to this. :v:
"This court of the immature teenagers finds the defendant guilty of being a butt-head, which we deem punishable by death."
Finally, I get to use terms like asshat and douchebag to prosecute people!

Back to serious talk about serious gun things, I'm seriously looking at buying a Sig P226, and there's this one deal going on at a place in Alberta, http://www.arma-coat.ca/frame.cfm?ItemID=62 Both have E2 grips, both come with a .22 conversion kit, both have 2 rimfire and 1 centrefire mag. The thing I'm wondering about is I'm not sure if the first one, the one without the beavertail, has the SRT trigger on it, which I've heard there is no reason not to get. Another thing I'm wondering is if it doesn't, do I get the one with the beavertail? I'm not sure I like the look of it, from what I hear there's no utility to it on Sig pistols, but that's the one that definitely comes with an SRT. Is the beavertail removable on the P226, or is it built in to the frame?
On the topic of 22lr conversion kits for sig pistols could I use something like this on my p225 (P6) pistol, or would it be incompatible?
What the hell is anarchocapitalism?
It's a phase in life that everyone eventually outgrows because they realize that most people are either assholes, apathetic or both. Same can be said for every other socio-economic subset that lies outside the generally accepted* principles of Capitalist Markets and Communist Commands under some form of acceptable* Government structure (Democracy, Republic, Totalitarian) (I would, however, go so far as to suggest that even the extremes of Communism [Notably Stalin, Mao and Pot] and Pure Capitalism [Most Notably Randian Economicsm, brought about by guys like Paul Ryan and Alan Greenspan] are foolish at best. Oh and Corporatists are bad!) *As a point of reference when I say acceptable, I do not mean to say dictatorships or Command Economics are good. I mean to say they are actually used as forms of Governance/ Economic Structure. An example of an unacceptable Gov't structure would be a Technocracy as it isn't as no nation uses it for governance, can't think of any other economic structures.

I have no idea about the beavertail though. Can you call and ask about the deal? See if the cheaper one has the SRT trigger. EDIT: Did some looking and it appears that the beavertail is part of the frame. So yea, you buy it, you are stuck with it. Also, I don't like silver or wood, but this one is sexy in a way:

It's a small detail and it looks alright in my opinion (not better or worse). I say, get it.
