I need to get certified for hunting somewhere other than Illinois
I'd like to head into either Wisconsin or Iowa and use my Enfield.
Is the Sig 226 Classic 22 with a Calibre X-Change kit for 9mm going to perform as reliably shooting a lot of centrefire rounds as a Sig 226 in 9mm with a .22 conversion kit? I ask because that awesome 226 deal may not be so awesome because it might be a Classic 22 and not a standard 226.

Neat, now I just need a 3D printer.
I think someone needs to print a bump-fire stock, just to go with the beta! :D
Oh, did I ever mention I got a letter in the mail from a senator I wrote? No? Well, yeah it was pretty cool. It had more of a "handwritten" feel than the e-mails I've gotten from the other senators I wrote to.
I can't remember where I put it, or I'd scan it and post.
Oh, and on the topic of old shotguns. What exactly is the difference between the 1897 and the Model 12?
I'm just gonna leave this here

quite impressive considering the last printed lower I saw fell apart when it was shooting 9mm.
I wonder how much the lower cost to print consider you can get an Ultimaker for ~$1,200.
I also wonder if that's even legal to do in Canada.
in canada, probably not

Wouldn't that thing spit gas and powder in your face? Unless the gas block is welded shut or something
I have a 3D printer at school. I'm pretty sure the teacher who has it wouldn't mind me printing gun parts actually. He paintballed, he collects AKs after he started getting them in kits. He used to hate them :o

There's probably a legal loophole. No way legislation has caught up.

doesn't matter, shot bullet
I guess you could unscrew the gas piston and weld it in there pretty easily
I don't get the point of 3D printing lower receivers. Even if you could you're still a long way from having a functional AR.

Because the lower receiver is the only part with a serial number. Everything else can be shipped to your door, but a lower receiver must go through an FFL.

Makes sense.

Would like an answer to this.

Yes. Many people suggest going that route because it is cheaper, but the internals in the frame are the same.

What in the fuck is this thing supposed to be?

So the frame is completely the same? Is there any disadvantage to the Calibre X-Change kit versus the standard 9mm Sig? Why is there a $400 difference between the .22 and the 9mm versions?
I need to get a .357 SIG caliber X-change kit for my P250. I have heard great things about .357 SIG.
Anyone into BP muzzleloaders? I kinda want to get into it, maybe purchase a cheaper muzzleloader for starters, than work my way up to building my own with a kit. I heard the 120$~ ones you get from gander/walmart/anyothersportinggoodstore are pretty decent budget BP to get into. I also plan on using it for hunting too so thats a thing.

I have one of those cheapo muzzleloaders from wal mart and it's pretty great for the price. my savage 10ml2 gets more range time though, it's easier to clean smokeless residue
