He's trying, yeah, but honestly I think Sobotnik does a better job. Sobotnik's posts and counter-arguments almost always make me think of something beyond "God DAMN that made no sense."
Also, since nobody seems to be discussing it, apparently this week is when the federal AWB takes the floor again. I can't find any sources and no media outlets even acknowledged it to begin with, I'm just going on hearsay from my range buddies. If anyone has a more credible (and applicable) source, please post it. I'm actually still really anxious over the whole thing and I'd love to know I'm not alone.

7.500 in with +/- .003 tolerance from the rearmost point where the buffer tube screws in to the center of the front takedown pin, which realistically means about 7.7-7.75 inches overall length depending on how the takedown pin housing is machined
