Gotta admit, those rosewood grips are pretty
They'll be made of greasy plastic with molding burrs.
I'm not dead guys, calm the fuck down. :suicide: Also, can no one read that manian112 did this to his luger?
Feinstein's bill dies in committee http://blog.sfgate.com/nov05election/2013/01/30/senate-judiciary-chair-rejects-dianne-feinstein%E2%80%99s-assault-weapons-ban/
We in the clear now then?
Nope, she'll probably propose a less insane version next
Or someone else will.
But I mean, even the high cap magazine ban in the House died, so it seems unlikely that a ban will pass. It seems what most people want passed is stricter background checks [editline]31st January 2013[/editline] Hopefully by next month shit will be back to normal price/stock-wise
Price and stock won't get anywhere NEAR back to normal until the summer, both there and here in Canada, everyone's basically going to have fuck all until May/June.
Well here's hoping the pro-gun states level out sooner than that [editline]31st January 2013[/editline] because I need ammo
yeah I really need to get some AK mags, I only have one mag now since I sold my spares

guys I'm legitilmly smiling, I'm so happy just thinking of when everything is back to normal and shits in stock I'm in love with guns
I'm hoping price go down before I start my 1911 .357SIG project
Feinstein's bill dies in committee http://blog.sfgate.com/nov05election/2013/01/30/senate-judiciary-chair-rejects-dianne-feinstein%E2%80%99s-assault-weapons-ban/
it doesn't say anything about dead in committee, it just says the chairman of the committee doesn't support it. pretty much means dead in committee, there's a lot of follow the leader going on in there. remember though, feinstein is on the committee too. The fight isn't over until that old crone drops dead, and even then it won't be over for long
Why not just buy a 1911 in .38 Super, or is that not allowed in your particular competitive category?
Why not just buy a 1911 in .38 Super, or is that not allowed in your particular competitive category?
The requirements to shoot major in every IPSC division except Open is a minimum of .40cal. But, I assume because of us, they have allowed .357SIG and only .357SIG for major in Classic Division provided it makes 170 PF. So nope, can't do .38super unfortunately
DaCommie I assume you've been keeping up to date on the shit the bitch OPP overlord is trying to pull? basically the backdoor registry bullshit. Any detailed news about it? I remember you said before Ontarios CFO was getting booted [editline]31st January 2013[/editline] honestly its fucking ridiculous. Apparently we don't have rule of law in Canada we just have multiple anti gun overlords who will arbitrarily do whatever they want when they want without even telling anyone or asking anyone. [editline]31st January 2013[/editline] I kind of want to write him an angry letter but I'd probably be put on some watchlist as a domestic terrorist or something stupid knowing them.
Back door registry was killed by parliament months ago, what Herr Wyatt is doing now is basically trying to fuck over anyone with a pistol by making ATTs harder to get and more restrictive by demanding people carry an invitation when going anywhere but their home range. The good news is someone is trying to press charges on him for defying a court order to issue an ATT, and the CSSA is suing him for making ATTs more restrictive.

Also, writing him is useless because he doesn't give a shit, write your MP, MPP, Harper, Toews, the new Premier, and send an absolutely scathing letter to Attorney General John Gerretsen because he's the one who told Wyatt to do this, not to mention that on Sun News he said that personal liberties and freedoms are "American things" and wants handguns banned, despite having no justification as to why.
On the topic of "bad" things to guns, we refinished my Mosin with light grit sandpaper. Only on the wood though, to get all the cosmoline out and a nicer finish. Yeah it may sound stupid but it's a $90 gun that looks 10x better (in my opinion) than it did when we got it. One of these days, I'll get a 91/30 and keep it all original for antique purposes, but when they're in such plentiful supply I don't really see the harm. Not that I'm saying the Luger was anything remotely similar, but there are situations for these things.
Hey HellSoldier, need any ammo for that Steyr?
Alright going shooting this saturday. M1 Carbine Mosin-Nagant M91/30 Hi-Power I can play with: 870 Ruger 10/22 AMD-65 Polack AK-74

Scratching paint off a war spoil luger, that's just unAmerican.

Using sand paper to remove the war trophy mark, finish, and serial # off of metal is a dumb thing to do.
True, I guess equating sanding a stock down to sanding the metal, especially where the serial number is, is a completely different situation.
Can anyone recommend a good scout scope for a 22 rifle, under $300.00? Cheaper and older the better.
