Wurm Online FP Invasion - you almost made a new thread, but it's useless. - General

Java made me update today actually. It gets 3/4 of the way updating graphics.jar then says it's unable to download one of them and i have to start the entire thing again. I'm trying it again, i'll post the error log here and on their forums if/when it fucks up again.

I've logged back on, I'm still the only person from the expedition online, there's about 5 or 6 4channers here but it's fairly quiet, the wall isn't done.

I think they've fought a might battle (mightier than half of mingestirith against a harmless cow)

So, what's the plan? Are we going to raid their village or what?

The update actually worked. It's been a few years but i reckon i should be able to pick it up again quite quick

We should buddy up with them and do a massive project together, like make a tunnel all the way from our town to theirs. If we go to war, it's just going to annoying as hell, because there's no PVP on GV, and all that will happen is back and forth stealing. Not fun. Also, I think I've figured out a way to fix the food shortage issue we've got. I'm going to start making lots of stew. It's a lot less time consuming to make, all I need is my cauldron and a ton of fish. So basically, I'd like to ask everyone with a fishing rod to come on a trip with me, and in thirty minutes, we'll probably have enough food for the entire town for half a week or so. Also, I have a spare fishingrod I can give to someone. Preferably someone who will take good care of it. I've seen too many people break their fishingrods because they didn't repair any damage after they caught a fish.

I'd give you 30kg of iron for it. Remember, thats processed, not ore. quite a lot.

Prevents you having an unlimited supply once you've made the rod. I find that it isn't usually too much of an effort to catch the fish to cook, but gathering the berries is time consuming.

This game is getting a tad boring, i'm thinking of sailing my boat around GV, and come back.

Anyone in town have a pelt that they are willing to trade? I wonder if custom skins are possible for this game, the roof texture on houses could use improving.
