I just need to finish of one wall and get a lot of blue dye to finish off my medieval TARDIS (otherwise known as my house).

So.. I have 4 unfinished anvils, a few tons of iron lumps, no pelt/hammer/whetstone to finish the anvils, no house or pen or anything at all. what was the point of this game again?

I'm currently at my Shed, which is about a 3 minute trip to the town. Building a house is pretty easy if you can get tons of logs to make planks from.

If you get unfinished items that you can't finish (need a hammer to finish the hammer, d'oh), just try again until you get an item that's finished. Just for the record, once you start massproducing stuff, like weapons and armor, you beg for the item to stay unfinished as long as possible, because finishing things is the same as improving them, but it cannot fail. Also, if we do get into a war with /v/, I may have to start putting food somewhere inside, before it all gets stolen. Tossing casseroles in a fountain is rather unsanitary anyway.

It would be best to construct a new building, for the sole purpose of storing food. A town Mess Hall, or something.

Can you guys tell me what's new about this game? I saw a thread a few years back and you had to pay to play it then. Is it now free to play? Also, how hard is it to learn? I heard it was a bit of a grindfest to get anything done. But, other than that, I'd be more than willing to play.

I heard that we can buy an NPC trader for 20 silver coins, Wurm do a similar "offer" scheme where you can earn iron coins and 10,000 = 1 silver coin. If 20 people including myself did this we could easily get 20 coins for a trader. I already made my first coin and I didn't even fill in 100% real info. Just goto the wurm website and click shop, then type your name in the box :)

Also, why isn't this in the Games Discussion sub-forum?

It's not as much as a grind fest as WoW but even if you ain't actually doing anything, its still addictive

There's also another option: everyboy donates a bit to a PayPal account. We'll get 20 coins in no time.
