Your post makes no sense.
you know whats better than houses? fenced in areas. Less resources than a 1x1 house, but 20x the size. And you can flaunt your stuff and grow crops. http://i48.tinypic.com/5eheo3.jpg
You don't need three big anvils, you filthy thief. People like you are the worst. Campkilling faggots who just nick everything in sight, eventhough they have no need for it whatsoever. People have been moaning over the lack of big anvils all week, and every time one gets made, its gone within the hour. Nice to see where those all went. As far as I'm concerned, you're kicked out of the camp.

This game is fun, me and two other guys have a nice house and stuff already.

I made those anvils, i had a shitton of iron lump. I actually had 5 but people stole 2. And i have a locked large cart that was outside my farm, I brought it in after noone claimed it for a day, if its anyones tell me.
I'm at the town. Now what the fuck do I do?
Awesome, I logged in and I still have all my inventory items from a long time ago. A bunch of spyglasses, tons of silver coins, and all sorts of premium goodies. :3: EDIT: Goddammit, I quit the game and rejoined and now it's saying the area is a premium zone and I can't log in. :saddowns:

Maybe people wouldn't be able to steal them if you gave them away. Anyways I helped a Dev and a few people mine out the starter mine and got given 99% nutrition in return. As such I am now able to maintain my hunger levels and create excess food for everyone else. I think we really need a system for feeding people. Perhaps a place where village cooks and fishermen can access so we can store all our food supplies and provide food for the village with ease. Don't give everyone access because people will just either end up eating the raw materials or hoarding them all for themselves. For each person we could provide 2kg of fish, a foraged item and some water, cooked in a saucepan to provide a substantial Gulasch that should last a day. Mass producing the food would be far more efficient. At the moment I have to travel to the coast, fish, bring the fish back, forage and cook food alone. If we work together (and don't say that's impossible for us, I've seen cooperation by some) then we will be able to progress far easier.
Yeah, you need to pay 10 euros to play on that account, or make a new account to join us in the Golden Valley.
Do I need to download the graphics.jar and sound.jar packs too?
yeah
It gives you graphics and sound I think.
I can see my house in OP.
Signing up now, seems like a pretty sweeet game!
CURRENT TOWN PROJECTS 1. Tunneling in the China mine. I have no idea what the China mine is or what the hell everyone is doing in it. Apparently we've broken into another adjacent mine and are now tunneling for water.
We've tunnelled for water, reached "the promised land" via another mine and now we are mining to the sea and creating a canal from under the camp to the sea for fishing and boating
Restarting as a scrublord just for you guys, if I get hooked again I'll restart my premium account.
This game is so slow-paced, but man is it fun. I can't seem to find the entrance to the china mine, does anyone have an in-game picture of the entrance?

We should centralize the mining area, residential area, etc... It's too scattered as it is.
There's about 4 carts that are decaying by the shore if someone wants to go recover them. PM me for locations [editline]03:00PM[/editline]
[IMG_THUMB]http://filesmelt.com/dl/410e00crapmap.png[/IMG_THUMB]
How are you dumping those tiles?
The Chinamine is located near the exit of the camp to the valley in the south, which leads to the sea. The Chinamine is covered by a big wooden minedoor. Also, here's some thread music:
Why is it a CHINAmine? [editline]11:02PM[/editline] Okay biggest question of all: What do I do when I reach the village?
Why is it a CHINAmine?
Because they are tunneling down to China.
The tree in the wurm logo is taken from an actual photo. Makes me wonder if the guy who took the original picture knows.
Why is it a CHINAmine? [editline]11:02PM[/editline] Okay biggest question of all: What do I do when I reach the village?
It's called the Chinamine because it was so long that it was commonly believed it would lead to China. Instead, it leads to some place in the middle of nowhere. The name still stuck, though. When you get to town, it's best to just try some things and figure out how everything works. You'll probably want to make some tools and build a house. That's what most people do when they start.
Could someone just point the settlement for me on this map? http://wurmonline.com/wiki/index.php?title=Road_Map_GV
Could someone just point the settlement for me on this map? http://wurmonline.com/wiki/index.php?title=Road_Map_GV
That map seems way different from the map we're all using. Try following the video or the maps posted in the OP.
