Timesplitters 2 without a doubt is what made me a gamer to this day. Me and my friend would rush home to play it. So many hours doing the chanllenges and map making for games of virus. I love the humor and pure sillyness of it, was so badass.

TS2 was definitely a personal favorite. Me and my brothers played the shit out of it. *Puts on Nostalgia Goggles*
This guy does not have an interesting voice.

why not do a kickstarter? (i never played timesplitters, so i dont know alot about whats going on involving free radical and such)
I have contacted Crytek about a kickstarter and i would love to do one. With all the support ive gathered i think it'd get funded nicely. But its just about legal issues
My mom and I used to play TS:FP :v:
Any idea how we could get even more publicity for this? i definitely want this cause to turn into some kind of kickstarter for Crytek
The choice for developers nowadays is surprisingly easy really. Either take the publisher money and work on something with rigid guidelines with guaranteed employment, or take a risk and independently develop the game of your dreams. Probably a multiple of the current funding record on Kickstarter.

Timesplitters virus mode
If only the publishers would open their greedy little eyes. :(
Call me a hater but this guy is pretty melodramatic about an old FPS, NO GOOD GAMES and REHASHED WAR SIMS when we just got Tribes. Not to mention pretending anyone would even bother with split screen is laughable.

If it had been developed for retail, there's no way any publishers would go near it.
I only really remember Timesplitters 3. Great game, loved the level editor. I would make levels for me and my friends to play in and it was awesome.

The point is this is just one example of a larger problem. It may not kill gaming, but for the time being it's aggravating.
brb rebuying a ps2
Future Perfect was stellar man. I remember for one reason or another my friends and I played a round of 4 player split screen on a 6 inch b+w security monitor and it was still so much fun. I really hope this continues to get the proper attention it deserves.
