Sometimes I wonder if he is stunting his efforts because Tyler is his older brother
you do know they arent actually related right
they just like to call eachother brothers
I wonder if Hoarse called Hoarse because Earl has a lump in his throat on the first verse.
It kida bothers me and makes me want to clear my throat.

doris was spectacularly boring imo
better than wolf, though, but that isn't really saying anything
maybe you guys should take in consideration that shut the fuck up
maybe you guys should take in consideration that shut the fuck up
another A++ argument from mzathemind
I bet earl is literally getting five dollar bills poured down his throat while everyone on the internet talks shit about how there was too much hype. I didn't really see HYPE I saw PROMOTION... ADVERTISEMENT goddamnit
There was a ton of hype.
And even if it was "a promotion // advertisement" that doesn't really say much in favor of Earl. It'd be nicer to see a laid-back artist promoting what he/she wants rather than setting the standard that'll bring money in. OF has capitalized way too much on their group, tbh, and it's dragging them down in my opinion.

So people claiming that it was the next best thing in Hip-Hop wasn't hype or the fact that people thought this was gonna be the next Madvillainy? Ok.

Dude close to none of the "promotion" and "advertising" was even done by Earl, it was some of the worst album promotion I've ever seen.
Doris is pretty great, but I like EARL a lot more.
Doris is pretty great, but I like EARL a lot more.
I really love the EARL Mixtape. The whole thing has a form of consistency in the production that gives it a really unique charm. Doris just seems too spontaneous; to me it feels more like a compilation album. I probably think this though because half the songs on the album have been released months before the whole thing was finished.
doris was extremely boring yep
[editline]22nd August 2013[/editline]
kinda disappointed I thought chum was great but the rest of the album is very meh 4 me

Gonna have to agree with this. Only songs I like IMO were 20 Wave Caps, Centurion, Whoa, and Hoarse.
also, the beat on hoarse sounds like something that would be on hotline miami so i think of that whenever i hear it lol
523 is fucking beautiful
523 sucks
523 sucks
523 is fucking cool you suck
but really, why dont you like it?
its really weird and doesnt really fit with the album
523 is just another one of those dumb instrumentals everyone seems to be puting in their fucking albums as a filler and everyone is like "ooo dis is cool ur not a reel fan if u dont like dis" but really it's just weird and repetitive and out of place and boring and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i dont find it boring though, it carries an awesome vibe and i love it
maybe its because i make beats personally and i really appreciate instrumental shit but i dig it a lot

Tyler has a new song in GTA V.
no one on this board understands how artists progress, you all wanted EARL 2.0 and he knew this and said fuck you
good for him, everyone here probably listened to the album 2-3 times and made up their minds. go listen to Wolf then losers
I liked doris but I really liked the GTA V track

that was unnecessarily hostile
no one on this board understands how artists progress
the concept of artist progress doesn't make the album good
yes I listened to the album 3 times and I didn't like it 3 times, I don't need to force it on myself to think it's boring
tyler's GTA track sounds like a weird reject from goblin. i know it was probably written before wolf but it's weird to hear him back on the "lol addicted to cutting up bodies" shit. though that does fit with the themes of GTA V pretty well
