since then i've figured out some weird stuff about the functionality of the ink thickness settings at these resolutions. and i've changed how i render to a 3 pass process for the shaded outlines. i can write up some stuff later if people are interested but i'm out the door in a few minutes. Waahh :( Ive just got the demo for the latest rayfire and decided I'd dry out the new Wood Fragmentation. It worked at like a depth of 2, so I got 3 huge chunks (ProBoolean Wood Splinters) but at the default of 30 or whatever this happened: [IMG]http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz68/TheHappyTroll/rayfire.jpg[/IMG] That just from one frame to the next, about a second or 2 later things go back to normal instead of Spazzy. What can I do to fix this? [editline]6th September 2012[/editline] Simulations usually work fine but there's usually a few fragments that go bonkers and sometime all of them like the example above.

Don't know if you're already making it for something but it's some motivation to keep working on it atleast.
