You have to have DOF and vignette otherwise it's not art. :eng101:

And bloom, glare. Be sure to add some overexposure for that 'wow' effect.
I like to make sure I have my DOF strong enough that a single pixel is in focus and everything else is unintelligible.
r u gonna fix the seams?
Oh, where did they come from? Brb. [editline]18th September 2012[/editline] There, fixed. It was because i copy pasted some Photoshop layers and it didn't paste it in the center so they we're offset.
The texture looks pretty good without the dof.
Emmm, not sure where to post this, I made it using Sculptris. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17625073/flodor/progress2.png[/t] Going to paint it later, anything I should change?
i dont see a shine
Look on the top of the second log and you'll see it's like someone spilled a cup of lube on it.

Figured out how to texture things. Made my first UV map. Did a pretty good job I would say. I need to work on my texturing skills though... [editline]19th September 2012[/editline] Whoops, beginner pageking
Changed some things. People kept telling me to remove the jacket, so how does it look now? If you have any ideas as far as the design goes, I'm open to everything.
It looked better with the jacket.

Jaw needs to be longer and thicker, and the "brain compartment" needs to extend back some more
