Off topic, but that's actually why I prefer modelling from made up concepts. When you model something real using photographic references then people expect it to be spot on, whereas if it's a concept you can use some (I think this is the right phrase) artistic license and alter things to work better and look better in the 3D world. It's less linear, but you can still create something 3D from something 2D.

I might tone down the vignetting on the SFM shot though, it's pretty extreme.

The render's aren't that bad, it's more of I don't know what I'm looking at exactly. The second to last one though, that one looks like actual shit.
