I'm currently learning camera tracking with 3De, it's a pain in the arse. Most big PP houses have new employees do camera tracking for up to a year. Not looking forward to that!
Crossposting from models/skins; Some progress but I sadly lack the time to do any more detailing. Does anyone have any tips on how I would go on with the baking? Explode the mesh to separate bits and make the lowpolies separately and then put it back together? [img]http://www.leet.cc/airtug_004.png[/img]

No shadows, had some strange shadows appearing (probably from a collision in the mesh, or might of turned on double sided on the smoothing options) Vest is for my ArmA 3 projects, using this function to simulate the vest being put down on a desk etc for visuals.

A space warp gate for a game that I helped build. Some of you who MAY play EVE, will probably notice that it looks strikingly similar to one of their warp gates. In hours, probably like 20 so far. I can't really say since I've worked on-and-off for a few days on it.

In it they look more like salvage ships whereas yours is more tug like. Are you going to add any Greebles? I absolutley love what you've done so far though.

If only you had the egg spline that M1 would be done by now. Looks good nonetheless.

The end of the stock looks a bit strange and the handle looks slightly rectangular, but it's really nice.

Some of my friends who use 3ds aren't very impressed with the new update, and this seemed to be the main reason. Trying to find how to do that "ambient occlusion" texture render within Blender. I'm fairly certain I've seen someone do it before with Blender.
