Now my blue cube won't animate, but the rest will. Even though I selected everything correctly and everything about the blue cube is the same as the animated red cube. Fuck it. I'll just get an F for this assignment.

Didn't work. Thing is, let's say I am at frame 295. I set my keyframe, and I move to point 297, I move a point again and place a keyframe. It's now animated. With the blue cube, I can set all the keyframes I want, but when I change a point it will stay exactly the same throughout all keyframes. It doesn't animate. All the changes I make are permanent and don't reset when I change a frame. [editline]11th May 2012[/editline] Also, the red cube (that does animate) is a CTRL + C / V of the blue cube. [editline]11th May 2012[/editline] Even when I make another copy of blue, the copy won't animate. When I make a copy of red, the copy does animate.

VERY dark :P And when you texture it, it will look even darker since all your models are gray, so if you choose to go with a night scene, you should anyway make the scene much lighter. But from the looks of it it's well made, the models look great and the scene looks complete :) Also, the quality, and lightning itself looks nice.

Yeah I should make it lighter, made it yesterday evening, not going to texture it though I just needed it to set a mood. And the setting is an European city around the 1840's.
I have an issue, well two actually but the second needs a picture. With 3ds Max, randomly I can't get out ofthe move/rotate/scale tools and can't select anything. I've tried switching between object selection and editable poly. The only way to fix it was to restard the program. Also whenever I clicked the selection button in the top hotbar it would flash on then go back to select and move no matter what I did.
The past two days that I've been working at Futuremark, I've been busy trying to learn XSI because the 3DMark engine links with it. It's still very confusing but I have learned a lot already. Also the engine has some pretty sexy things in it.

To fix it I spawned a box, since that forced you to go into the box-making mode :V then when i had spawned it the cursor would start behaving again, and i could delete the box.

The one game they made (turns out they've made three now though?) was absolutely beautiful, but the design was terrible. I would assume they've got good benchmarking software and crap, though.

I've had that happen after hitting spacebar and to fix it you just need to tap spacebar once more.

This is why I much prefer modeling something an actual concept artist makes or just real objects.
