Based on this, the gameplay looks functionally identical to the first game, just with better sound, gun, and environment design.

Its nice I suppose but they could have at least added something to the gameplay to mix things up, the strike gameplay looks so samey that you would likely have trouble separating it from the first game.

Even if transferring your character doesn't result in much presumably due to losing your vault, the moment they said there was a character transfer in effect, I had the feeling this was going to be an expansion pack sequel. It doesn't look like a bad one, mind you, but i'm not surprised at all really.
