Ah dang this isn't the game I suggested, but it's still good to see a new video of his. There's something enrapturing about Ross's voice.

This game is going to feel increasingly dated as time goes on. Life Is Strange is basically the video game equivalent of this: [video=youtube;M7lNBMGmGF0]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7lNBMGmGF0[/video] Considering that hipster culture, i.e. semi-ironic retro-revivalist 1950s-60s culture and fashion, is already starting to be supplanted by synthwave, i.e. semi-ironic retro-revivalist 1980s culture and fashion, I wonder what a 'how-do-you-do-fellow-young-people' game like this would look like if it is made a year or so from now?

If anyone is looking for an actually good teen drama mystery game, then I highly suggest Oxenfree. The writing is superb and makes all the characters believable and the mystery elements are really cool. The dialog system is also the best in any adventure game I've played. It makes you feel like you're actually in a conversation with the characters and like the choices actually matter. Overall the game does a really good job of conveying the stresses of maintaining relationships as a teen without letting the drama overtake the mystery.

Jeez, i wasn't much interested in this game to begin with, mostly because It's not my style, but I'm definitely not after hearing that atrocious dialogue. The setting and premise seem neat but I wouldn't be able to get past the dialogue and similar issues that Ross had.

Dialogue is still real bad though, and i'm not sure how i'd describe it in terms of good or bad, but it gets points for creativity.

Man, I always assumed this game was something both pretentious and that I woulden't enjoy it. I'm glad Ross confirmed my beliefs.
