I blame you.
god damn i hate my generation
I feel really bad for his dad.
I'd have cracked way quicker than that kid... he's a brat, but I'm kinda impressed. To be honest, I think they went a bit overboard abusing the kid. I understand he needs tough love, but getting 3 random cons to go in and scream in his face is pretty low. People have been jailed for child abuse for less. EDIT: I'm not on his side. I just don't feel entirely comfortable watching it.
Ugh I don't know where harassing him and shouting at him will lead anywhere. The first impression I got of the kid was that he must be having some mental problems.
damn this kid's a fuck
No swearing on my stage.
They classify people like this as psychopathic. No regret. [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline] the crowd is kinda apelike though. I mean, they obviously get gratification from putting down a 13 year old. This is not helping him at all.
wow what an asshole
Steve is a gigantic faggot and the audience is a faggot
Both the kid and host are awful. The kid obviously has problems, but how is the host any better by antagonizing him in front of an audience of people? The guy's not there to help him, he's there to make a spectacle out of him and a couple of bucks. That kid should be sent to a psychiatrist, not a TV show.
"YOU GOT A POOL, I WANNA BE YO FRIEND. A POOL? A POOL!" I don't know why, but that was hilarious.
I AIN'T GOT NO POOL
Does it seem that the kid is an actor?
Excuse me but what the fuck how is this a reality/talk show, for my arguement i'm taking that this is truth. Now what is thrust upon the kid immediately is how he's being drilled by Steve and an audience, what comes off first is how Steve is acting like a snarky asshole, further encouraged by the audience that seem to have the mob mentality and the I.Q equivalent to a bunch of chimpanzee's, the kid is acting in a civil manner compared to Steve's attitude towards him, he knows what he has done and knows that it's wrong. And it's pretty apparent that at the start of the show that he's had a shitty life, he's already into every kind of drug, he's stolen and got into fights, but he also has a character to him that he doesn't take shit from anyone about his family or friends and I respect that in a person. Steve ends up trying to unsuccessfully get a jab out of him on the subjects he's constantly drilling for the audience, he first goes on about what he's done, and acts moreso as an arrogant bully who shouldn't be on the show in the first place, after he tells the kid not to swear he ends up going on about how the kid ran away from his Aunt's house once, in which he replies in a truthful quote "Because she told me to get the fuck out." and Steve in his cocky manner tells the kid to shut it and say's how he's acting is going to get him sent to Juvie. The entire arguement that Steve uses is flawed on why he ran from his Aunt's house, the kid has intelligence and good friends showing that he said on how he has friends who care for him, when Steve decides to go on asking him why didn't he call his father, the first thing he says is that his father is in B.C, and most likely doesn't know where the fuck he is where Steve ruthlessly drills into him about it that isn't needed at all. Another factoid about Steve is how he finds out about the child about his mentally handicapped cousin, in which he responds "He is your own flesh and blood." which isn't entirely true and should be reserved for the offspring, siblings and parents, not cousins. The kid shows a slight rise in which Steve takes the oppurtunity to constantly jab, trying to get an even angrier rise out of him for the camera, now what's horrible about this segment isn't about Steve or the teenager, it's about the audience that continues to act like a bunch of apes going "HOOH, HUUH" chanting, grunting or whatever the fuck they're doing. Now what Steve tries to do is intimidate the teenager more by sitting down, going on about how he's a police officer, how he has arrested kids more tougher than him, how he tries to scrutinize the kid by changing the word "Parents" to "Mommy and Daddy" talking in a very smug tone into his ear, going on about how they were crying about being handcuffed to a wall. The intimidation technique doesn't work on the teenager in which Steve ends up getting slightly pissed because he tried to get a rise out of the teenager. And then continues on his tirade of his life on being a police officer that doesn't even relate to the kid at all. A surface of the teenagers past shows that his father has beat him, and before he can give the reason Steve interrupts in his smug attitude saying "For Fun?" not allowing the teenager to give a solid point, and before he allows the kid he turns around and drills him why he threatens to kill his father, again another moment of the past surfaces showing that the father threatens the kid, showing how deplorable of a lifestyle in his house and with his father he has. The kid slips out another "swear" word in where Steve decides to treat him like a child with no responsible and tell him that he'll clean his language up which the Teen decides not to give in where Steve suddenly acts like a bully from pre-school suddenly getting pissed, raising his voice and getting in his face for absolutely no fucking reason other than power-tripping. Suddenly Steve gets pissed seeing the Teen's defiance as a threat to his show suddenly going over the common sense of growing up and becoming a Teen in which the audience suddenly devolves into the mentality of going "WHOOP WHOOP" clapping and hollering again, and then decides to bring his Father out. He then turns recounts of what has happened about what the Teen has done to his Grandmother, and before allowing the Teen to speak he tells him to get off the stage so that he isn't able to give his perspective and point out anything wrong, in which shows how biased Steve is in his confrontations. The kid decides to leave because he's had enough of his bullshit and tries to leave in where a behind-the-stage camera gets the footage where Steve decides this is an excellent oppurtunity to get another rise out of him while he's forcibly restricted, after getting his Fathers permission he suddenly decides to try and piss off the Teen more by pointing a figure in his face wagging it disapprovingly, the Teen tells him he doesn't want to go back out in which Steve says that he's going to force him back out again power-tripping saying "You don't run the show, I do." before saying that this show that's a tirade of intimidation and debauchery is for his own good and then decides to insult the 13 year olds intelligence. Then it goes back to the Father saying how he gives him everything but then goes on to say that his Mother actually left him, leaving him as a single parent in grade three, In where he goes on how his treatments of Physical and counseling along with therapy isn't helping, in which he's actually neglecting his son by not actually bonding and getting to know him more, thinking that he's a machine that just needs the right treatment to "fix" his problem and then he'll be good again. And then the father accuses that the treatment his son is giving him is killing him instead of the disease of Crones disease, giving an outlook that he was a rather large man weighing over 200 pounds. Then Steve Wilkos decides to threaten Brandon (Only knew his name now) by showing him prison if he doesn't change his ways, in which the audience interrupts into hooting and hollering like mongrels. When they get to Detroit and Brandon decides he's still had enough of this shit and decides to get the hell away from the man who's been treating him like a toddler, shoving his finger again in his face then leads him into Prison where he's put in a cell and given a lecture that's really common sense to anyone who has done a crime, after that he then degrades Brandon by telling him that he can make a toilet his swimming pool. After that a police officer decides to intimidate Brandon in which he asks if Brandon wants to fight him, being about twice if not three times the size of Brandon he says the most logical answer of "No." in which he's promptly given inmates clothes unproffessionally and then again is given an unproffesional speech and then forcefully confined. And then he's given for a third time another unprofessional speech by a police officer, although I do understand that it rings truth it should be conducted more proffessionally to a child a third or half of his age. After been given a fourth degrading talk by a police officer, Wilkos decides to step in and says that they're extending the period of being in prison further and then says how Brandon is wasting everyones time in which Wilkos paid, funded and brought Brandon out into the prison. And then he's given another speech in which Wilkos degrades him, in which he starts crying which Wilkos decides to try to move him to tears further by yelling at him louder, after been given a speech by his father on how he's tried to fix him with methods other than bonding they decide to move onto a more horrible type of punishment for Brandon. Three undercover police officers and decide to intimidate the small child even more yelling degrading comments of how they actually care that a father is crying over a child in which he's stuck in the middle and then given an education speech of common sense again of how doing crimes will lead you to prison and then they actually decide to reference rape, rape to a thirteen year old child given by three men twice his age. And then the man to his right decides to degrade Brandon by giving how much he wanted a father, comparing him to his own of how much he cares for Brandon and then decides to yell louder and get more in Brandons face for absolutely no reason and then goes on a tirade of (OH LOOK AGAIN COMMON SENSE) of how drugs kill you and are bad. And then the adult to his left gives his life story on how he hates it in prison and how much he dislikes it and why he says he doesn't want to be in here anymore, halfway through Wilkos decides to come in and go on another tirade of [sp] COMMON SENSE [/sp] of how prison is the end of the line and then degrades his intelligence by saying he's thick headed, to wait awhile so that the realization would hit him even though it's been said ad hominem and ends it with how this horrifying experience of intimidation, bullying, confinement and psychological abuse is for the greater good!
words
Can you summarize that my good sir? Your words were quite verbose, and I couldn't help but not read it.
TL;DR We bully, intimidate, confine, restrict you for your own good, despite the harsh child and upbringing you've been given.
I hope something good came of him in the end.
"First of all you're not gonna swear on my show young man" *clap clap clap clap clap* "Awww yeeaaa Steve you a badass sonovabitch" [editline]24th August 2011[/editline] People like Steve Wilkos aren't scary because you know they can't hurt you.
People like Steve Wilkos aren't scary because you know they can't hurt you.
Actually, on the contrary. If Steve were to suddenly turn around too fast, the sheer velocity of his beer belly slamming into something would probably be enough to render a medium-sized bull unconscious. Kid best be watching out for any jerking motions.
i love this type of show its very entertaining
Stupid shit kid.

I think sending him to prison, making him meet real people serving real time for making stupid choices for better reasons than "cause I felt like it" or "it makes me feel good". I think that was a good way of showing him what's real life.
I hope something good came of him in the end.
he will probably stop breaking the law, but he will probably still be a gigantic cunt to everyone he talks to or he'll just suck up and fake everything he says
The dad looks like Peewee Herman.
if i was that kid id just be an asshole right back to steve
looks like this happened a long time ago isn't anyone else curious whether or not he actually changed
Steve is probably the most biased and power hungry person I have ever seen. "I was a goddamn police officer, I am going to degrade you in front of an audience and not let you voice what you have to say, then I'm going to send you to a jail where either A. role model convicts are going to yell at you or B. Undercover cops are going to yell at you. YELLING AT YOU IS THE BEST TREATMENT, FUCK THE SHRINK AND YOU'RE MENTAL CONDITIONS!"
Man, fuck. I hate it when shows do episodes like this with no follow-up.
This kid did deserve a good yelling at to some extent. But when Steve said "YEAH, CRY MORE" or something like that, I felt really bad for the kid.
