I have never smoked weed and have absolutely no desire to. I also want it legalized because I don't like the government telling people what they can and can not do in the privacy of their own home.
On the other hand, as someone said before, putting smoke into your lungs is never good thing. Marijuana smoke is no better for you than tobacco smoke. People just usually smoke much less marijuana than they do cigarettes.

Don't forget there's a shitload of carcinogenic chemicals added to cigarette smoke which makes it very harsh (though not fresh tobacco), while cannabis is smoked right after being taken off the plant. Cannabis also possesses anti-cancerous properties, which is probably why no one has had lung cancer from it.

When I first clicked this thread, I was prepared for some pot discussion, but having read to page 7, all I got was a whole bunch of mad and butthurt, misinformation, more mad, and retarded opinions with no basis in reality.
You guys suck so bad, I'd even venture to say you'd find better discussion on 4chan of all places.
Oh well, anyway, cannabis was the first plant to be cultivated by humans, has unlimited uses including food, fiber, and fuel, and produces flowers which, when smoked, promote feelings of well-being and peace while having no negative effects whatsoever. How anyone could ever possibly be against the cultivation, recreational, or industrial use of cannabis is unfathomable. And how you guys can get so mad about it, both those for and against it, is funny to me.
