Yes but it bothers me that you wouldn't think to say "oh gee, maybe the reason people don't like drugs is because of their own reasons" instead, you have to make the same fucking rehashed thread that has been made thousandfold in the past to reignite volatile topics which were untouched because they were stupid and trivial. Yes, pot can have negative effects, but they are no where near as bad as alcohol is. You CAN NOT OD on THC unless you are taking in intravenously.
You would probably die of thirst before you could smoke enough to kill you. In my year and a half an a volunteer EMT working in a rural area I have seen 6 people nearly die as a result of alcohol consumption. I only ever heard one call for someone on pot, he fell down and landed on his ass running from the police, from my understanding he made a full recovery although it was a bit uncomfortable to sit down for a few hours after the injury.
From what I have read pot only causes psychotic effects when heavily used over a long period of time.

First of all, could you actually come up with a real argument other than incoherent, non paragraphed, ramblings?
Second, there was no copy and paste, aside from 2 URLs i used as sources. Everything else, i wrote.
Third of all, a lot of people here ARE uneducated, or ignorant on the topic. Not everyone has read everything you have, and i think you will find most of the threads posted here already are about the legality, not the actual prositives and negatives of marijuana. It's just people have taken it down that path of discussion.

the difference is, weed does not do any real damage unless you abuse the absolute shit out of it for a long time. You cannot overdose from it.

Eh, I DO think every drug should be legalised but whatever. But there's arguments against that. Weed on the other hand, there is no reason it should still be illegal. None at all. As long as people are still being arrested for supplying or possessing weed I'm gonna keep complaining about it.

I'm British, Libertarian means the limiting of the government and more personal freedom, ala what people put in their own bodies. It is the persons sole choice to do the drug, why should they be persecuted? Heroin users are treated with much greater stigma than weed users, yet Heroin is genuinely addictive, and they have very little way of controlling said addiction. If heroin was legal, it would be a lot easier to help those who had a problem, same with all drugs. I'm in no way anti weed, I'm actually pro drugs in general, I feel that no man should be told what he can and cannot put in his own body. a man should be free to smoke asbestos lined crack if he so chooses, as long as he is harming noone else

And kids can get drugs from dealers much more easily right now than they could if those drugs were legal. That's why it's difficult for a teenager to get alcohol, yet 9 year olds can get cheese heroin.
