I don't think it's bullshit. As the guy above said, your body uses energy while sleeping. Your metabolism slows down when you are sleeping so if you are full of food you won't get the best of it, and you will lose fat loss benefits.
Yes, but if you ate earlier, your body wouldn't have used your fat for keeping itself going then.
lmao holy shit are you retarded? i hope that your wrote that wrong because if you honestly think meaningful progress will show in one day or a week then just wow lmao
Here it is, simplified:
Food in body? Your body will use that for energy
No food in body? Your body will use fat stores
Nope. No food in body, body uses your muscles for fuel because it has more ready to use energy in the form of carbohydrates. Fats are harder to break down for the body so the body will use carbs first. To get the body to use fats there needs to be either protein to prevent muscle degeneration or long periods of exercise like marathoning.

Why on earth you don't do legs?
I don't really want beefed legs, and my legs/lower-body are currently how I'd like them.
When it comes to cardio the running and such will tear them into the condition I wish them to be in, whilst swimming and rock climbing should add a little extra lean muscle.
Update.
Workin dat chest:
