Whenever I hear about a deer getting hit, I feel bad. Now I'm going to laugh thinking about all these posts of snow plows and tractors and what not. (Hmm that actually sounded a bit cynical :ohdear:)

Deer are bad here in northern Michigan as well. My friend hit a deer in its ass end doing 55. Didn't do shit to the car aside from some tufts of hair stuck to the grill, but the deer was sent flying 20 feet spinning like a frisbee.

It looks like we are going to have some deer meat tonight, Isn't that right hunny?

I live in ND and I will personally guarantee that if any of you actually ever come close to or do hit a deer, you will NEVER look at them the same.

I happen to live in TN too, but have never hit a deer. Though I have seen them DANGEROUSLY close to intersections.

The problem with a moose is that it's [B]tall[/B]. Exactly the height for you to hit in the knee and make it fall over [B]ON TOP OF YOU[/B]. Literally on top of you. Imagine a moose weighing a ton being hit by your car and basically tripping on it and falling headfirst into your car through the windshield. Fuck Al Qaeda, moose are WMDs all by themselves.

It's blinding as fuck, and makes it really damn hard to see. I ONLY use my brights on my car if there's no oncoming traffic and I'm in an area of town that doesn't have streetlights so it's harder to see. Even then I only will restrict it to if it's raining hard or I'm driving on country road. You have no businessness or need to use floodlights when in town or in the city yet people fucking do it all the time and you can't see jack shit. Hell the only time I see them is if I'm driving in the dead of night and it's only a few off in the woods. Though I do live in a more suburban area.... the country probably gets more.
