The 2012 Apocalypse - General

This thread AGAIN? We get like one of these a month. No, it won't end in 2012. If it does, you can sue me. But you won't be able to, because you'll be dead. Besides, my calendar ends this year. It doesn't mean anything.

When I first heard of 2012 I panicked and started to cry, thinking I will die. However, a week or so went by and then I was like "Naaah, I won't die. Even if I do, I don't really care." Because really, I could die in 5 minutes from now, so what's the reason to worry about dying 2 years from now? It really IS the 5 steps of death. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. I went through all those that one week, and now I'm at acceptance. I don't. fucking. care. if the world ends. If it's a zombie apocalypse style ending, I'll be really happy, because then it's AWESOME.

A lot of us survived Y2K, 9/11, various other environmental disasters (Although a fair share died), but I'm pretty sure 2012 isn't going to do what people think it does. The movie was good though.

The Mayans just needed a bigger piece of stone to record dates on.

Here is my 2012 theory. I am very paranoid and I believe a series of events are going to happen. First Event: Everyone on the planet earth goes nuts after recieving a high number of radiation from the sun Second : Riots break out amongst everyone murder's anytime during the night and day. Third: People fucking in the street or just about anywhere. Fourth: The government kills the people during the choas to reduce the population to 500 million. Fifth: After all this has occured a metoer the size of Mars comes hurling towards earth killing everyone.

If anything, I would think that 2012 would be caused by some stupid peoples last moment thoughts, ex. North Korea gets paranoid and nukes whole bunch of places, in turn the other countries do too, causing apocalypse. Which would mean 2012 did happen, but only because they believed it would happen. (Of course this isn't what I think will happen, just a theory.)

Nothing is going to happen, and they will promptly make up another doomsday date. The only thing that worries me about 2012 is all the fucktards and idiots thinking it's their last day alive and going around rampaging, destroying, robbing, murdering and so forth. That's why I'm barricading myself in my cellar with a large stockpile of food & water on the 12th of December until the point where the world is supposed to end has well passed. Although, since I live in Bermuda maybe the isolation will lower the number of idiots. There will be riots and revolts and all manner of shite on that day, trust me.
